Python-skin extraordinaire JBF Customs went on a slightly different route for his latest custom, creating a “Venetto” Air Jordan 1 inspired by the Air Jordan VII “Bordeaux” and the Nike LeBron X “Cork”. Rife with luxurious details like burgundy leather and genuine cork supplied by a North American company with over 150 years in the field, JBF’s Air Jordan 1 “Venetto” is yet another impressive masterpiece from his portfolio, but this time around, he got a little help from Regularolty, who had the custom “Incomparable” wooden box made. The auction is now live and these are a 1-of-1 in size 10 (custom snapbacks are also available on JBF’s online store), so check out the gallery below and get your bids in on the listing from jbfcustoms on eBay.

JBF Customs is without question the chief of the customs tribe that deals with high-end materials – most notably the leather python skins he’s used to punch up shoes like the Air Jordan 1. This latest Air Jordan 1 customs is dubbed the “Venetto” for that high-end wine appeal, using rich bordeaux-colored leather and cork material on the upper, with a sick wooden box packaging. Done in conjunction with regularolty, these are indeed a 1-of-1 in the popular size 10, and an auction for these is going live on Tuesday, April 23rd, so stay tuned for more updates and check out the amazing box below.

Iman Shumpert is repping the three-stripes mega-hard these days, going as far as buzzing in the adidas Basketball logo into his hair before the player-hatin’ NBA front-office put a stop to it. His on-feet selection has been more on the Originals side, and it’s about to get a level deeper with this sick adidas Crazy 8 “Python” Custom done by the snakeskin/anaconda specialist known as JBF Customs. Option for a tonal grey for that true wildlife appeal, JBF selects multiple textures of Python leather and suede on the upper and lambskin lining for a sick contrast, with a brown snakeskin piece on the heel for a nice accent. We’ve got an HD gallery of these below so give it a review and let us know what you think!

Did the best custom sneaker of the year arrive on December 31st? We’re not going to pass judgment on that (you can in the comments though) but there is a strong case to be made for the Air Jordan IV ‘Python’ by JBF Customs. The concept kept the Air Jordan IV ‘Bred’ colorway that you know and love intact while turning up the sneakers with a crazy luxury look via that beautiful snakeskin treatment (and don’t forget the red lambskin liner). The good thing is that we’ve got another look at them and some info on how to purchase a pair. They will be up for grabs tonight at JBF Customs in very limited quantities. Get the HD gallery on this Air Jordan IV after the jump .

Sneaker Customizer JBF continues to remind us that perhaps the criteria for a ‘custom sneaker’ should be lifted up a few notches. His free-hand work continues to impress as he opts for opulence and distinct flavor, displayed without fail in this adidas Pro Model High; using a red python upper with authentic lambskin leather on the interior, JBF uses hidden seam construction (not an easy task) to give the sneaker the emphatic hit of luxury, with a block of nine gold studs on the tongue for even more ‘high end’ appeal. JBF has these available right now at his online shop so continue on for a full gallery of this true ‘luxury’ custom sneaker and let us know what you think.
