JBF Customs is back at it with another snakeskin pair, this time taking to the Air Jordan 1 ‘Bulls’ with his reptilian remix. The result is the Air Jordan 1 ‘Incomparable’, which puts on white, black, and red snake paneling for an incredible luxury look. The initial pair was cranked out for Ty of LDRS fame, with JBF now deciding to whip up a few more for the sake of popular demand. Three more pairs of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Incomparable’ will be made, each up for grabs tomorrow, Febraury 15th at the JBF site. Hit the jump for a full look and let us know if you’re trying to scoop up this super rare custom piece from JBF.

With the rise of popularity in custom sneakers comes added recognition from sneakerheads that have a little extra money to throw around. Jordan Retros will run you nearly $200 these days, but if you have your paper right, you can get them custom-made – like these Air Jordan IV ‘Python’ customs that were made for Jets superstar Darrelle Revis. These crafty IVs, commissioned by Revis’s manager John Geiger as a Christmas gift to his good friend and client, were made by JBF Customs, who, throughout all of his projects seen on Sneaker News, relied once again on incredible materials and details rather than a simple colorway change. Peep these sick ‘Python’ customs after the jump and let us know what you think.

JBF has switched up and offered a couple of adidas Pro Model customs of late, but this veteran handcrafter has always been known for his favorite silo. JBF’s latest custom Nike Blazer is a military-inspired waterproof nylon camouflage design whose rolled-edge construction gives them a factory quality look (a very difficult task for a complete reconstruction like this). Details like M16 leather patches, engraved hangtags and a lambskin sockliner give these a premium feel, so have a closer look below and let us know where these rank in JBF’s growing catalog.

Sneaker customizer JBF is known for his specialty the Nike Blazer (and to a lesser extent, the Dunk Low), but his latest output proves it’s not just the Swoosh’s classic basketball models with which he can work that unique brand of magic. Quite to the contrary, as we see his latest emanate from two other brands with headquarters in Oregon, one of whom happens to be Nike’s biggest competitor. The adidas Pro Model High ‘Pendleton’ applies a vibrant woolen print from one of America’s heritage brands to the Blazer-like Pro Model silhouette for one of the most pleasing if understated customs we’ve seen in recent memory. Longtime Sneaker News readers might remember The Shoe Surgeon’s ‘Pendleton’ Skytop III, and if so, you can’t help but notice the connection between models either originally created as or inspired by old school basketball sneakers, seem like the best ‘canvases’ for Pendleton’s wool products (remember their ACG Blazer and Valenki from late 2008?). Check these out in greater detail below and let us know how they rank against the still-advancing custom sneaker market.

One year ago today, sneaker customizer JBF whipped up one of the most popular custom sneakers of the year in the ‘Jet Life’ Blazer Mid; playing off of Curren$y’s ‘Jet Life’ track, the shoe really took off because due to the New York Jets’ playoff run that was stopped short at the AFC Championship Game. Unfortunately, the Jets are in complete disarray, but JBFs part deux of his Jet Life customs are still worth a look; the design is roughly the same, but now the heel logo features real Raw Rolling Papers, the tongue now reads ‘Jets Fool’, and the inner tongue label, well, you can see for yourself. Just 12 pairs will be made so act fast because they were certainly a hot item when the original first dropped, so check out the detailed gallery below and head to JBF’s online shop to get yours.

Most sneakerheads, given three wishes, would almost certainly pick at least one of their holy grails, and since you’re not allowed to ask for more wishes, here’s another way of taking that theme meta. Sneaker customizer and Blazer loyalist JBF is back with his latest take on the most classic of Nike Basketball silhouettes, this new Nike Blazer High ’Jafar’ custom inspired by the villain from Disney’s 1992 animated feature Aladdin. There’s no Glibert Gottfried soundbites in the background, but the red suede, black leather and snakeskin Swooshes do indeed capture the feel of an evil villain who’s probably spent too much time out in the desert sun. Sneaker customizer JBF has done most of his significant works on two different Nike Sportswear models, with about a half and half split of Blazers and Dunks getting the handmade touch. His latest is another Nike Dunk Low, the latest iteration of which happens to be both very much alike and quite dissimilar from his carbon fiber designs last year. On one hand, both these new joints and those old pairs relied on special materials, but instead of a technical lean, this new Swooshless model utilizes a textile on the underlay depicting each of the Air Jordan Retro cards, save the oft-maligned XV. Click through to see more angles, let us know how these stack up to the ever growing list of Michael Jordan tribute custom sneakers and stick with Sneaker News for the best customs from around the world.

JBF Customs has worked some great magic with the Nike Blazer in the past. His mid-January ‘Jet-Life’ customs were spot on – a tribute to the surging New York Jets and the Curren$y’s popular single, and his 4/20 Hemp joints showed that a simple approach is all that’s needed. His next project is a salute to Hong Kong, using red suede on the uppers with a floral stitching inspired by the flag of Hong Kong. Additional detailing is seen on the swoosh, which is made of a white dragon brocade, the heel, which features Chinese characters that read ‘Hong Kong’, and the tongue, which houses logo of Hong Kong train system. Continue reading for a detailed look at JBF’s latest custom work and let us know if you’d cop if these ever released!
