Once ‘Linsanity’ begun Lin’s jersey immediately became one of the fastest selling of all NBA players, with Nike quickly reacting with a string of Lin inspired sneakers.

Linsanity might have come to a pause when it was confirmed that the Knicks point guard would miss the rest of the NBA season due to a knee injury, but it looks like the folks overseas are still celebrating the Taiwanese-American Jeremy Lin with a release of a PE colorway of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low. It features a simple Knicks colorway of royal, orange, and white, but with a special-edition insole featuring LINSANITY in the bold typefont, colored in with a camo-style detailing. These have just hit select Nike Basketball retailers in China, but would you like to see a release in the states, perhaps as a House of Hoops exclusive? Check out the detailed angles of this interesting release below and let us know what you think. via kenlu

NBA Feet: Weekend Recap – 3/2 – 3/4

nba feet 3 2 3 5 NBA Feet: Weekend Recap 3/2 3/4

It was another great weekend of NBA games, and the amped-up level of intensity was definitely noticeable throughout all the contests that went down over the last three days. Teams tend to ‘step it up’ after the All-Star Weekend, and that was certainly the case for Sunday’s match-up between the Knicks and Celtics; Rajon Rondo quieted trade-rumor controversy by putting up one of the most impressive triple-doubles in history while wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low. The much-publicized match-up between Rondo and Lin took attention away to arguably the most un-discussed All-Star of the year in Deron Williams, who dropped a Heinz-ketchup bottle against the Charlotte Bobcats whilst rocking the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low. The Masked Mamba remained undefeated as he slipped through the Kings and Heat while wearing the Kobe VII in the Home Lakers colorway. Some nice LeBron 9 sightings were worth noting, like Eric Bledsoe wearing the Black/Red, Ty Lawson with the ‘Bright Mango’, and LeBron with the Ironman-esque Fairfax H.S. PE. Following Bobby Simmons’ return last week, another 10-day contract player that deserves attention is Gerald Green, the former top-prospect and Dunk Contest champ who joined the New Jersey Nets while wearing the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’. DeMarcus Cousin liked his Rising Stars PE so much that he, like Jeremy Lin, wore his Hyperdunk 2011 PE against the Los Angeles Lakers. The New York Knicks got back on track with a full and healthy roster last night as the home team hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers to kick off the post-All Star Weekend session of the NBA Season. For Lin, this game was particularly important; after his worst outing against Miami last Thursday, Jeremy needed to regain his confidence and prove that the only fluke about his game was in fact that poor outing against the Heat. Jeremy answered critics by dropping 19 points, 13 assists, and most importantly, giving up just one turnover, and did so while wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 PE issued to him for the Rising Stars Challenge. However, Lin wore the special Hyperfuse Low iD for that game, opting to debut the Hyperdunk 2011 PE last night. Will Lin continue to rock this PE? Will it even release? We’ll keep you updated on the matter. via Yahoo

Jeremy Lin x Mars Blackmon ‘BALLIN’ T-Shirt By The Forest Lab

mars blackmon jeremy lin 1 Jeremy Lin x Mars Blackmon BALLIN T Shirt By The Forest Lab

Going from 12th man on the bench to superstar point guard in one of the most celebrated sports arena in the world is one thing, but to be the toast of the town in the year’s most star-studded basketball event is on a completely different level. Jeremy says he still has a hard time letting everything sink in, but we wonder how he handled being one of the brightest spotlights of the NBA All-Star Weekend. One of Lin’s proudest supporters is none other than Knicks fanatic Spike Lee, who was spotted during the All-Star Weekend wearing one of the funniest t-shirts we’ve seen; Jeremy Lin as Mars Blackmon on Spike Lee. Mars, as we know, is a fictional persona forged by Spike Lee during the Air Jordan advertisements in the early 90′s, but even Mars will admit that Lin’s success and meteoris rise goes beyond ‘the shoes’. If Linsanity has taken you over, hit up The Forest Lab to cope your own shirt! via FRESHNESS/jose3030

The league’s most promising first- and second-year players got together to participate in the 2012 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge that featured a mixed-and-matched team drafted by makeshift GMs Shaquille O’neal and Charles Barkley. Team Chuck took the win at the end with Cleveland Cavs rookie phenom Kyrie Irving taking home the MVP honors. Of course, we had our eyes glued to their feet, and the Rising Stars Challenge certainly did not disappoint; among the key sightings were there Hyperfuse Low iD for Jeremy Lin, Landry Fields and his Zoom Kobe VII PE, John Wall’s Zig Encore PE, Norris Cole’s LeBron 9 PE, and Blake Griffin’s scorching red Hyperdunk 2011s. The Rising Stars Challenge served as a platform for other brands who don’t get much notice, like Kemba Walker’s Under Armour Micro G Bloodline and Evan Turner’s Li-Ning Turningpoint ‘Year Of The Dragon’ PE. Who hasn’t caught on with Linsanity yet? The basketball phenom known as Jeremy Lin has taken the global basketball horizon by storm, accelerating at blinding speeds to a level of superstardom that has generated excitement all throughout the world. Attempts to measure his impact on the game of basketball have been made, but with Linsanity continuing to spread at fast paces, it might be better of to sit back and enjoy the ride. He’s become one of the biggest fan attractions during the month of February, selling out crowds both at Home and Away, while earning the top spot in merchandise sales while being mentioned in the same breath as the LeBrons, Wades and Kobes of the league.

Jeremy Lin was signed on as a Nike basketball athlete for his potential and his global presence long before Linsanity, but his recent rise in fame was enough reason for Nike to place their newly-minted star in the spotlight by introducing Lin’s current in-game selection, the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low, in a special Nike iD colorway. It’s got a royal blue upper with a white/orange gradient Hyperfuse sectional with a solid white outsole, black midsole, Lin’s ’17′ jersey detailed on the ankle, and ‘LIN’ printed on the tongue. Want to order the exact same one? Did Charles Barkley just make as turrible a decision as the 29 other teams who failed to see the greatness in New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin?  Team Chuck lost out on their chance to secure Linsanity, who was drafted to Team Shaq for the newly revised NBA Rising Stars Challenge, where Lin will join Knicks teammate Landry Fields among other standout rookie and second-year stars.  And if Nike Basketball decided they wanted to create another campout line as big as the galaxy itself, all it would take is a quick-fire release date in New York for this new Nike Hyperdunk 2011 Low Jeremy Lin PE.  This NYK’d-out player exlusive honors Lin’s meteoric rise to fame with a ‘J.L. Soph’ tongue tag in step with the ‘Galaxy’/'Big Bang’ signature releases, and this morning’s NBA TV-telecast practice session suggests Jeremy’s pair will be broken in by game time.  Have a closer look after the jump and let us know how this pair you’ll see during the game tonight on TNT compares to the ones they’ll showcase on Sunday at the All-Star Game.  via Nike Basketball Taiwan/SC
