News of Lil’ Wayne’s official sneaker was this week’s top stories, and common conjecture in the sneaker community was that adidas would be the ‘major sneaker brand’ that Wayne alluded to in light of his affinity for the flamboyant sneakers designed by Jeremy Scott. A Lil’ Wayne x Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals would be an interesting move, but nothing’s set in stone, unlike tomorrow’s releases of the Jeremy Scott Gorilla and two colorways of the Instinct Hi. The Gorilla, like the previous Teddy Bear releases, features a plush animal’s head with arms protruding at its sides, only this gorilla is wearing a tre-foil adidas logo t-shirt, and the two adidas Instincts come with oversized tongues and wing-tip-style perforations along the ankle collar and in-between the three stripes. Packer Shoes will have all three in-stock tonight at midnight with a countdown timer ticking down to the exact moment of availability, so check out all of tomorrow’s Jeremy Scott releases and let us know which of the three you like best.
