The last time we featured Jim Jones visiting a sneaker store, it was Flight Club on Broadway – the gigantic sneaker consignment shop that has fed the ever-hungry sneaker game for years. During that video, Jones showed a solid knowledge for the most trendy kicks, but this recent trip to the adidas Originals store on Wooster St. in SoHo showed that he’s got an eye for classic footwear as well; in the video below, you’ll see Jim Jones and friends hit up the adi-Ori spot and pick up some gear like the Rod Lavers and more, only after cruising around town with his new Audi whip. “This kinda ish is what you get caught up in. Originals!”
Jim Jones has bragged on record that he has “more kicks than Jack Chan”, and judging by his response to the glorious walls at Flight Club NYC, he’s probably right. The Capo joined Complex’s Joe La Puma at the legendary sneaker shop where the two discussed Jones’ shoe stash, his theories on OG vs Retro+ colorways, how you might pop your tongues and even a little jab at Joe’s jeans. It was all in good fun, though, and Jones ended up changing his mind toward the end when he spotted the Air Jordan VI DMP, a pair he apparently had to have. Click through to see the video in its entirety and stick with Sneaker News for a likely update on Celebrity Feet as we approach the drop of Jim Jones’ latest album, Capo.

The Dip Set made a triumphant return to the stage this past Thanksgiving weekend, in front of thousands of hometown fans, Cam’Ron, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, and Freakey Zekey reunited for a historic performance at the Hammerstein Ballrom in New York City. While the concert was covered by numerous affiliates of our Complex Media Network we were more interested in what Dip Set was rocking on their feet. While we still can’t quite pinpoint what Killa Cam was wearing Jim Jones did have on a pair of the Air Max 24-7′s in the Original Air Max 95 “Neon” colorway on while Juelz Santana decided to go for a clean pair of “Uptown’s” otherwise known as White on White Air Force 1′s. Take a look at more pictures from the epic night after the jump.
