Jordan Brand’s full plans for July 2013 are being laid out in front of us. One of the first things that sticks out about the group is the abundance of “true blue” utilizing styles, despite the Air Jordan III of the same name being, obviously, nowhere to be found. One of the other first things that sticks out is the overall dearth of retro styles-there are just a couple of Air Jordan 1s being reported at this time and that’s it. Continue reading to see the entirety of the Jordan Brand July 2013 stuff, tell us which model you’d most like to get your feet into, and keep in mind that the whole set is right around the corner.

The Jordan 1 Flight has been available with on-again/off-again regularity over the past four or so years, which is to say that releases are fairly sporadic but you never have to wait too long for another new pair. Today we have word of a trio of new styles arriving in retail, both pulling from the recent flurry of Air Jordan IX activity as well as the immortal AJIII. These new J1 Flights feature Elephant print accents on ‘Photo Blue’, ‘Olive’ and ‘Cool Grey’ (what a crazy season when the ‘Cool Grey’ AJ9 could fly under the radar!) colorups, even applying their respective IXs’ convention regarding contrast stitching. Both are available now at Foot Locker as part of the #weekofgreatness, so click through to see more photos below.

It is with good reason that the period between mid-November and the end of each calendar year is commonly called the ‘holiday season’. So many of the world’s local cultures have contributed to a melange of occasions suitable for celebrating, and the one that starts off the annual spike in retail sales starts later this week in the United States. But even if coming together during the winter results in increased sales, getting the major sneaker brands to cooperate is a task on the order of creating world peace. So Foot Locker‘s ‘Black Pack’ for Black Friday not only launches the store’s Kicksmas celebration in earnest, but it also manages the ambitious coordination of releases from adidas Basketball, Jordan Brand, Nike Basketball and Nike Sportswear. Dark colorways of the adidas adiZero Power Howard and adiZero Rose 2.0 join the Air Jordan III Retro ‘Black Cement’, Jordan 1 Flight in the same colorway, triple-black Nike LeBron 9s, Zoom Hyperdunk and Hyperfuse 2011s, the Total Air Foamposite Max also in black/anthracite, and John Wall’s Reebok Zig Encore. Last but not least is the ‘Binary Blue’ Zoom Rookie LWP, a model presumably included because it’s the darkest colorway on a model that has no ‘blackout’ edition (yet?). It’s a mouthful and enough to drain your wallet, and even if FL’s best wishes come true, it’s unlikely anyone will seek to complete this ‘pack’; so which ones are the must-haves?
