Given the steady stream of previews for 2012, it’s pretty clear that the Air Jordan X will be back in a big way come next year. It seems that the resurrection of Mike’s tenth signature shoe will be precluded by a bit more hybrid action for the same silhouette, manifested here in the Jordan CMFT Max Air 10. The colorway sticks with the classic Jordan Brand palette, falling somewhere between the predominantly black ‘Stealth’ Air Jordan X and the all-Bulls ‘Chicago’ colorway. Some of you may still be a bit uneasy at the sight of an Air Jordan model on top of an Air Max sole, but stick with us after the jump for the full view before you pass judgement on these. If you like what you see, grab a pair from the team at Oneness.

Jordan CMFT Air Max 10 – Black – Challenge Red | Available

The latest in Jordan Brand’s experiment with Nike Running’s Max Air cushioning platforms, the Jordan CMFT Max Air 10 has just touched down at retailers across the country in a new colorway.  Or should we say ‘old colorway’, because this new black model with Challenge Red accents is indeed quite familiar from Michael Jordan’s unequaled domination of the NBA as a member of the Chicago Bulls.  Another thing we expect by this point is for the CMFT 10s to carry the Air Max 97′s full-length cushion, so curious that the only real surprise here is the tiniest hint of AM95 on the gradient eyelets.  Click through to see more angles of the JB’s latest Chicago-style gourmet dish and pick up yours from FinishLine.

When the Jordan CMFT Max Air 10 first hit shelves back in April, it was in the form of the ‘Candy Pack’ a bright trio of colorways that may have been a bit too sweet for some. Well, if you’ve been waiting to get this hybrid model in a more subdued set of tones, now is your chance. This shadowy edition of the mashed up Air Jordan X/Air Max 97 shoe feels right for the summer nights, with a killer perforated suede wrapping the upper. The Jordan CMFT Max Air 10 debuted in April in the stoplight-colored ‘Candy Pack’  and got closer to its roots in the Air Jordan Legacy with a Cool Grey edition, this latest model at first looking like it’s moving even closer to Chicago Bulls territory, only to reveal its accent shades are a deep orange shade instead of red.  This color combo brings to mind the ‘Max Orange’ Air Jordan 1 Retro from 2009 everyone believed to be Infrared in its earliest previews and offers a nice twist on the classic Air Jordan aesthetics we’ve come to know and love.  Click through for a closer look at this pair and expect them at select Jordan Brand retailers like Villa this September.
