Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul is a true star. His latest Jordan CP3.VI AE comes with a graphic befitting that status. The ‘Supernova’ CP3.VI AE adds vibrant pink, red and blue visuals to a black base, which is anchored to the traditional LAC color scheme at the sole. Add in details like speckling on the heel and gradient aglets and the Supernova is downright dazzling. The Playoffs may have ended for Chris Paul, but his Summer offseason is looking rather interesting because as an unrestricted free agent, the Gold Medal elite point guard needs to figure out if he and his family are staying put in LA or taking his talents elsewhere. In the meantime, Jordan Brand will continue to release the underrated Jordan CP3.VI AE in some great colorways, like this dope “Black/Cement” version that combines patent leather and a speckled midsole for a pretty dope on-feet effect. After leading the Los Angeles Clippers to their best season in history, Chris Paul sits on the sidelines after losing out in a hotly contested series against the Memphis Grizzlies. This leads us to wonder where the All-Star point guard will end up after his unrestricted free agency is resolved, and unfortunately means we won’t see him work any more magic on court this year in the Jordan CP3.VI AE. One place he won’t end up is Chicago, so this Bulls colorway ends up indirectly themed around 1s with serious 23 overtones. The latest CP3.VI AE is depicted further after the jump and available now at Jordan Brand retailers like Titolo (And additional US shops).

The other half of this year’s apparent “Jekyll & Hyde” combination for Chris Paul’s line is here. The Jordan CP3.VI AE dons a wolf grey tone for its upper, representing the more reasonable of the split personalities from the aforementioned fairy tale. You have to stop and think what could have been with a Cliff Paul/Chris Paul set up instead, but we’re happy to see this strong one two punch come back around anyway. The Jordan CP3.VI AE, that’s artisan edition for those keeping score at home, is a sneaker that will apparently come packaged with a nod to the most important artisan of all in the Jordan Brand legacy. That would be Tinker Hatfield, whose Air Jordan IV design definitely peeks through on this colorway of Chris Paul’s most newest sig release.
