Jordan CP3.VI – Black – Red

The Jordan CP3.VI was quietly launched this past weekend in the patriotic USA colorway along with the ‘Advance’ model of Carmelo Anthony’s Jordan Melo M8, but it’s clear that Chris Paul’s sixth signature model is looking to make more noise. This first look at a Black/Red colorway (presumably an ‘Away’ version for CP3 to wear outside of Staples) gives more contrast to the diamond cut-out detailing on the upper, revealing heightened breathability and flexion – perfect for CP3′s game. The outsole also takes notes from the Air Jordan XIII with multiple protrusions at the heel, while Podulon support maintain’s CP3′s top-level cutting/slashing style of play. A full shot of this Black/Red colorway is just ahead, so give it a look and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more on the Jordan CP3.VI.

Jordan CP3.VI – Official Images

Just yesterday, Sneaker News filled you in on the release information of the Jordan CP3.VI – Chris Paul’s sixth signature shoe with Jordan Brand. It was a rather quiet report – particularly for a new signature shoe – but Jordan Brand just unveiled the official images of this amazing shoe, and like all the previous CP3 installments, the CP3.VI is all about the numbers. Before we get into details, let’s look at the built; Hyperfuse is utilized in the upper as is Podulon cushioning. The rather ‘hidden’ feature of the CP3 is the outsole, designed specifically for CP3′s hard cuts and darting movements. On the lace-tips are ’336′ and ’310′, a note to CP3′s roots in North Carolina and current situation in Los Angeles. More of the CP3.VI below, so check out the official images and stay tuned for the release tomorrow at Jordan Brand retailers.

Jordan CP3.VI – Release Date

jordan cp3.vi release date 4 Jordan CP3.VI Release Date

With Team USA coming home with a Gold Medal just a couple of weeks ago, there’s no doubt that every member of that squad has been re-invigorated with an urgent sense of competition as they enter the 2012-13 NBA Season. That taste of victory is sometimes enough to elevate one’s game, and of that group of USA-branded players, Chris Paul is one to keep an eye on as he looks to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a step above their 2012 Playoffs finish. He’ll be doing that in the all-new Jordan CP3.VI – his sixth signature model that he debuted during the 2012 Olympics; it features familiar design cues like the diamond cut-outs on the upper that provide both a structural and sentimental purpose to CP3, a low-cut construction, and an enhanced outsole traction composition – paramount to CP3′s hard-cutting and zig-zagging navigational tendencies. The Jordan CP3.VI will hit stores in the USA colorway starting this Saturday, September 9th, at Jordan Brand retailers, so take a look at the extra shots below and let us know where these rank among all of CP3′s Jordan sigs.

Jordan CP3.VI – Red – Grey

Chris Paul debuted his sixth Jordan Brand signature sneaker during Team USA’s Gold Medal victory over Spain in London a couple weeks back, so now we’re just waiting for the NBA season to get started for more variations on the red, white and blue look. Paul had so many combinations of those Clippers colors last season that this new Jordan CP3.VI will probably make an appearance in the rotation, but at Staples or abroad?   The neutral accents also connect to the early Air Jordan Legacy, where the Three and Four taught us the value of carefully placed grey tones when it comes to creating enduring, wearable designs.   Click through to see how this season’s streaky lines compare to the CP3.V and stick with Sneaker News for updates on US availability.

Jordan CP3.VI “Home”

Chris Paul’s caricature has been all over the place in the wake of his second gold medal victory with Team USA, but with the next NBA season something like sixty days away, it’s time to get serious with his sixth Jordan Brand signature. The Jordan CP3.VI continues the series’ infatuation with polygonal detailing and particularly diamond shapes, as the lightweight, breathable upper provides familiar colorblocking options and possibly a bit of gradient thanks to layering. The white peeking through blue mesh elements is just a peek, and indicative of the generally straightforward approach evident in this Clippers ‘home’ getup. These will likely play a major role in the upcoming season of NBA Feet, so stick with Sneaker News to see when CP3 himself rocks ‘em, as well as a target for US availability.

Yeah, yeah, LeBron turned plenty of heads with the roll out of his new sig on the court of the Gold Medal game against Spain but he wasn’t the only one doing so. Jordan Brand solider Chris Paul also took advantage of the international stage, slipping on a USA flavored pair of the upcoming Jordan CP3.VI. This sighting marks both the first time we’ve seen the sneaker on court and the first time we’ve gotten a good look at it beyond the catalog renderings and sterile product shots. Click through with us to check out Chris Paul’s upcoming Jordan CP3.VI in the ‘USA’ colorway as well as some in-game shots from Paul’s pretty performance that won him a gold medal for the mantle.

jordan cp3.vi nitro pack 1 Jordan CP3.VI

This past season was by many accounts Chris Paul’s best yet, a lockout-compressed abbreviated regular season that saw the Los Angeles Clippers roughly flip their winning percentage compared to last season.  ’Lob City’ has a whole new outlook now that they’ve got an elite point guard running the show, and Paul’s sixth Jordan Brand signature sneaker will be there as the Clippers try to make good on their dark horse contender status.  The Jordan CP3.VI seems a logical progression from both the CP3.V and based on what we’ve seen from the Melo M9, a diamond-latticed synthetic lowtop whose patterns stick with implying the kind of layering we saw from Carmelo’s latest.  Three vibrant designs suggest more wild styles in the vein of ‘Jeckyll and Hyde’ to compliment the Clippers-colored PEs, this new trio being called the ‘Nitro Collection’ thanks to its explosive Atomic Green, Total Orange and Metallic Silver builds.  Click through for a better look and let us know your first impressions of the Jordan CP3.VI.  Photos: US11
