Jordan Brand’s F2F series has proven to be one of the fastest moving on record, having debuted last spring before giving way to a sequel in the holiday season. And less than a year later, the Jordan F2F III makes its debut with a silhouette that leans toward the performance side of things. This high-ankled design has a(n apparently) slotted upper that might remind you of the Air Jordan V’s signature side panels, but this multi-grey getup with scant Chicago Bulls accents is most definitely the product of the early 2010s. Check out the F2FIII’s Dark Grey colorup in greater detail below and grab yours from RMK.

Now that Dwyane Wade is no longer with Jordan Brand, we can wonder if there was in fact a Fly Wade 3 in the works long before the contract talks between both parties began. A shoe model like the F2F III sorta carries that ‘Fly Wade’ vibe about it with that high tongue and enhanced details like the indentations on the upper and the ribbed inner lining. We all wish Wade the best at Li-Ning, but we can only scoff at the untapped potential between Jordan Brand and the player that emulated MJ more than any other. In any case, Jordan Brand will continue to pump out these performance based models, so check out the classic Black/Red/White colorway of the F2F III below.

Jordan Brand continues to widen its non-Retro horizons with the Jordan F2F III, set for a debut later this year or in early Spring of 2013. The previous two installments were strictly performance-based options, but does the III cross over into the Lifestyle category? Based on this preliminary catalog images, these do appear to be built with contemporary materials like the lightweight Hyperfuse-based shell while utilizing the popular high-peak ankle cut. The outsole carvings also promote multi-directional flexion at the forefoot, while the Air-based cushioning provides the comfort on the heel. An individual look at all four awaits you below so take a look and we’ll keep you updated on more Jordan Brand developments for the remainder of the calendar year. Photos: aaronknows
