There’s no shame in admitting jealousy towards the league players who get their share of PE heat from the likes of Jordan Brand. What might make you extra salty though is the thought of high school athletes already getting the exclusive treatment. We already gave you a preview of Jordan Brand’s latest round of high school PE’s, where Maryland’s Montrose Christian got slotted with the Jordan Fly 23. If you’re still sour about not being able to get your hands on a pair you have two optins: either get your Billy Madison on and head back to school or put your money in the hat for this size 9 that’s up for sale right now. With Jordan Brand’s title athlete having long since stepped away from the game, how do designers continue his legacy with Mike being out of the public eye? Nike designer Gemo Wong spoke to this issue recently, and one of the many solutions has been to pull from the stable of all-star athletes that Jordan Brand has gathered. Chief among those is Dwyane Wade, whose recent signature sneaker the Jordan Fly Wade is already seeing a spin-off model in the form of the Jordan Fly 23. The above colorway sticks with a deep shade of blue, paired with a clean white that shows up on the JB logos, the midsole, and on the wavy grid that flows along the side panel of the shoe. Take a full look after the jump and hit up Eastbay for a pair of the Jordan Fly 23 in Midnight Navy/White.

Dwyane Wade’s first Jordan Brand signature sneaker released earlier this year with a series of gradient colorways featuring different neon accents. That set of Fly Wades now feels tiny by comparison when considering the sheer immensity of September’s Jordan Fly 23 release slate. 11 (that’s right, ELEVEN) new Fly Wades will arrive in the ninth month, a variety of team colorways ensuring you’ll see the Jumpman on court this fall even if the NBA’s lockout isn’t just another offseason attention-grabbing decision. Click through to see more angles of this huge run of Fly 23s, let us know which ones you like best and stick with Sneaker News for the exact US release dates.

The most recent Jordan Fly 23 colorway to hit retail was a takeoff on the white, Flint Grey and French Blue combo that debuted on the Air Jordan XIII ‘Flint’ in 1998, but now it’s time for the one palette that is a must for every single Jumpman-branded release. The Fly 23 shows what it can do in the classic Bred getup, ending up with an aggressive if slightly futuristic vibe thanks to the model’s signature side panel quilting. Could these be a serious challenge to even the best Fly Wade colorways? Click through to see more images and let us know what you think, then pick up a pair today from FinishLine.

Two weeks ago, Sneaker News brought you word that the Jordan Fly 23 would see four colorways as part of its debut drop this August. The first of those has hit retail, so let’s take a closer look at the ‘Flint’ Fly 23, a model that takes its colorway from the recently retroed Air Jordan XIII by that same nickname. These are considerably whiter than the Flint XIIIs though, the signature shade and its French Blue counterpart segregated to mere accents next to the pearly white base. Click through to see more angles and pick up a pair of Fly 23s today from FinishLine.
