JORDAN FLY WADE 2 The Jordan Fly Wade 2 is Dwyane Wade’s second signature model with Jordan Brand. The sneaker was worn by Wade as he played for the Miami Heat during the shortened 2011-12 season, one that ended in an eventual Championship for the Heat. The Jordan Fly Wade 2 also comes in the post season version worn by Wade in the playoffs known as the Jordan Fly Wade 2 EV.

1977 NCAA Men’s National Champion Marquette University is enjoying its best season since Dwyane Wade led the Golden Eagles to the Final Four in 2003, and now the seventh-ranked Milwaukee school will have some extra help from its star alum as we once again descend into March Madness. The Jordan Fly Wade 2 is the latest in an ongoing line of MU PEs we’ve seen since Wade left Converse for Jordan Brand in late 2009. They match both of the team’s uniforms but framing a yellow forefoot with blue on the heel plus white accents is probably closest to their home uniforms. They’ve begun touching down at select Asian retailers and will join the ‘Syracuse’ Melo M8 and ‘Wake Forest’ CP3.V player exclusives at select Jordan Brand retailers on Wednesday, March 8th; which school do you think has the best chance to cut down the nets in New Orleans? via mikedamz on NT

Even though two of them switched teams and one of them switched conferences, Jordan Brand still managed to get three of the ten 2012 NBA All-Star Game starting spots for their signature athletes. Chris Paul’s West red Jordan CP3.V ‘All-Star’ will be considerably more similar to his everyday attire than in 2011, while Carmelo Anthony sees the Eastern Conference’s traditional blue on his Melo M8 for the first time in the series history. Dwyane Wade’s Fly Wade 2 rounds out the East squad heavy on 2003 draft pics, and speaking of timing your selections just right, these three are about to go on sale tomorrow at House of Hoops nationwide along with the Foot Locker in New York’s Times Square (the CP3. V will release on Friday). We’ve got a detailed set of images of Jordan Brand’s All-Star Game presence below so check ‘em out and let us know which JB All-Star will have the best overall performance!

This NBA season isn’t just strange for its compressed schedule, delayed All-Star break and a Linsane last week, but 2011-12 was also the year that the Miami Heat made white-on-black into something other than just another Spurs ‘away’ jersey. The Heat’s alternate getup is one of the freshest the league has seen in some time, and they’re timed perfectly with all the attention given to relatively simple black and/or white colorways for sneakers this spring. A good example of this synchronicity is the Jordan Fly Wade 2 that Dwyane Wade was spotted wearing in our NBA Feet feature in late January, a black and white design with Anthracite accents that’s slated for a March 8th release date. D-Wade’ll be wearing a crisp royal and white Fly Wade 2 at the NBA ASG next weekend; which two-toned style do you find more appealing? via Washinsp

Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul – they’ll be busy on the 26th of February, because they’re representing their respective Conferences in the 2012 NBA All-Star Game. Jordan Brand’s Big Three has a copious amount of All-Star appearance under its collective belt, and for this upcoming occasion, they’ll be rocking some new PE colorways of their signature shoes. Starting with the Eastern stars, Dwyane Wade will wear a sick White/Royal/Navy colorway of the Jordan Fly Wade 2 and Carmelo Anthony will rock a similar colorway of the Jordan Melo M8 with a jaw-dropping navy-blue elephant print, while the West’s best point guard will rock the Red/White colorway seen in our Jordan CP3.V Media Launch coverage from last month. Which of the three do you like best? You can see these in-game on February 26th, or cop your own on February 23rd when all three will hit select Jordan Brand retailers, so take a look below and let us know what you think.

Last night, we showed you what LeBron James wore on his feet before the Heat and Sixers game tipped off. Turns out he had another new pair of LeBron 9s for the game as well, because he, along with Dwyane Wade, wore new ‘Alternate’ PE colorways of their respective signature shoes, matching their Alternate Red uniforms. We’ve mentioned before that the radical design of the LeBron 9 makes it conducive to some creative color-blocking, and this new PE displays just that as it mixes Black and Red on the upper for a sick two-toned effect. Dwyane Wade’s Fly Wade 2 was also an crowd-pleaser, utilizing a white heel and outsole to go with the black upper and completed with a red trim detail. Check out LeBron and Wade and their new kicks below and let us know which PE you liked better! via ESPN.

Dwyane Wade earned his eighth NBA All-Star nod yesterday when the Miami Heat shooting guard was selected by fan vote to start in the 2012 ASG in Orlando. Based on what we’ve seen from teammate LeBron James and his fellow Nike Basketball signature superstar Kobe Bryant, it’d be natural to expect Jordan Brand to break from the traditional All-Star color palette in favor of something more novel. But before we arrive at the midseason break in three weeks, D-Wade and the Heat still have twelve games over the next twenty days. And if it turns out Agent D3 breaks out this new Jordan Fly Wade 2 PE, it’d likely be against the Hawks, Magic or Knicks (though it wouldn’t be a bad idea to give fans something good to watch when the Heat travel to Toronto, Cleveland and Sacramento, either). Click through for more, let us know if these are the best Fly Wade 2s yet and stick with Sneaker News to see when they pop up in our ongoing NBA Feet feature.

There’s no place like home, right? LeBron James and Dwyane Wade led the Miami Heat to a win over the Melo-less New York Knicks last night while debuting new ‘Home’-inspired colorways of their signature kicks. Bron’s Nike LeBron 9 featured a white upper with a red weave panel and matching midsole, reminiscent of the Nike Air Zoom Generation ‘First Game’ colorway, while the Jordan Fly Wade 2 on Wade’s feet was comprised of a ‘reverse’ colorblocking of the Christmas colorway (no green laces, though). Check out both of their new colorways after the jump and let us know which shoe you like better! via Yahoo!.
