Even though two of them switched teams and one of them switched conferences, Jordan Brand still managed to get three of the ten 2012 NBA All-Star Game starting spots for their signature athletes. Chris Paul’s West red Jordan CP3.V ‘All-Star’ will be considerably more similar to his everyday attire than in 2011, while Carmelo Anthony sees the Eastern Conference’s traditional blue on his Melo M8 for the first time in the series history. Dwyane Wade’s Fly Wade 2 rounds out the East squad heavy on 2003 draft pics, and speaking of timing your selections just right, these three are about to go on sale tomorrow at House of Hoops nationwide along with the Foot Locker in New York’s Times Square (the CP3. V will release on Friday). We’ve got a detailed set of images of Jordan Brand’s All-Star Game presence below so check ‘em out and let us know which JB All-Star will have the best overall performance!

Want to know how good Syracuse University basketball is this season? The Orange put forth one of their worst efforts of the season against Big East conference rival Louisville, yet still found a way to beat the eighteenth-ranked Cardinals at KFC Yum! Center. That means we can expect to see more of this Jordan Melo M8 they’ve been wearing throughout March as Jim Boeheim continues to climb further into the rarefied air of the truly elite coaches in college roundball history. Will Fab Melo, Scoop Jardine and the Orange make it through March Madness to win another National Championship? Stick with Sneaker News to see which kicks they’re wearing along the way, and get ready for the Melo M8 Syracuse edition to arrive at Jordan Brand retailers next month. via Sneakergo

Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul – they’ll be busy on the 26th of February, because they’re representing their respective Conferences in the 2012 NBA All-Star Game. Jordan Brand’s Big Three has a copious amount of All-Star appearance under its collective belt, and for this upcoming occasion, they’ll be rocking some new PE colorways of their signature shoes. Starting with the Eastern stars, Dwyane Wade will wear a sick White/Royal/Navy colorway of the Jordan Fly Wade 2 and Carmelo Anthony will rock a similar colorway of the Jordan Melo M8 with a jaw-dropping navy-blue elephant print, while the West’s best point guard will rock the Red/White colorway seen in our Jordan CP3.V Media Launch coverage from last month. Which of the three do you like best? You can see these in-game on February 26th, or cop your own on February 23rd when all three will hit select Jordan Brand retailers, so take a look below and let us know what you think.

Last year was jam-packed with elephant print goodness, as Jordan Brand went crazy dropping Air Jordan III’s left and right. Looks like they’ve got a bit of the signature print leftover, at least enough to outfit Melo’s latest with the look. The treatment comes paired with a classic Jordan colorway that makes the inspiration quite clear. As a long time Jumpman representative, Melo has no doubt earned the right to rep the look at this point in his career. Tell us what you think of this Air Jordan III inspired colorway of the Jordan Melo M8 and be on the lookout for these come February. via kenlu

When we think of Carmelo Anthony’s heritage, images of Baltimore, Brooklyn and Puerto Rico come to mind, but don’t forget that the four-time All-NBA forward had arguably the most productive one-and-done college tenure of all time while briefly attending Syracuse University. Melo has supported the Orange ever since via his Jordan Brand signature line plus a variety of other SU PEs, and while this pair of Jordan Melo M8s isn’t an official player exclusive for ‘Cuse, they certainly look like they’d be right at home at the Carrier Dome. Between the Knicks editions and releases like these, we’re seeing quite a bit of orange on the Melo M8; which one is your personal favorite? Let us know with a comment when you click through to see more detailed images, and stick with Sneaker News for this pair’s US release date. via HC/Taobao

2011 was quite a year for Jordan Brand’s three signature athletes. Carmelo Anthony went from West to East in a trade that sent him packing to New York City. Then, Dwyane Wade helped the Heat capture the Eastern Conference Championship and achieved his second NBA Finals appearance. Finally, Chris Paul was involved in another blockbuster trade that joined him with Los Angeles’ rising superstar Blake Griffin. While it may have been a hectic year for Jordan Brand, the Christmas holiday is a day or reflection (or for the three superstars, their 2011-12 NBA season debut). Releasing on Christmas Day is the Jordan Brand Christmas 2011 Pack, featuring the Jordan Melo M8 in Clover Green and Total Orange and the Jordan Fly Wade 2 in a tonal red. Missing in action is the Jordan CP3.V, which will debut in early January, but you’ll still see the Jordan CP3.V ‘Christmas’ during this Sunday’s games. Watch them in action on Christmas Day as all three Jordan Brand athletes will take the court in a much-anticipated opening tip-off of the season, and don’t forget to cop the Melos and Wades midnight at Nikestore on Christmas Day.

Carmelo Anthony’s Jordan Melo M8 is his first signature shoe as full-time New York Knickerbocker. Rolled out in some great Knicks inspired colorways, the Melo M8 came out with a bang, with the memorable Jordan Melo M8 NYC Flight Event and Flight Lab 159 in October taking over New York City in a complete Melo take-over. Even December’s release of the Varsity Maize ‘Taxi’ version provided some nice home-town spirit, but nothing signifies a Jordan Brand model better than when it is directly inspired by an original Air Jordan III. Arriving at retailers this February 2012 is the Jordan Melo M8 inspired by the Air Jordan III Black/Cement; it features a black patent leather upper matched with Grey and Varsity Red details and the signature elephant print on the ankle collar that completes one of the sickest Jordan Melo colorways in history. Would you like to see more Air Jordan-inspired Melo M8s? Check out the images below and let us know what you think.

The day that was in danger of never happening is finally here – NBA Media Day! It’s the perfect opportunity for NBA stars to re-introduce themselves to the media and the fans, and also a first look at some familiar faces in new places. We’ll let the NBA blogs handle that drama, because we’re here to look at the kicks! Starting off, Joe Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks was rocking the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’, while Southern Conference rivals Orlando Magic forward Quentin Richardson wore his Air Jordan XIII PE in White/Royal. The Knicks frontcourt of Melo, STAT, and Tyson Chandler got together for a nice photo, while Kobe Bryant posed with veteran Derek Fisher and new coach Mike Brown. Other interesting notes: Monta Ellis, formerly with AND1, is seen wearing the Air Jordan 8.0 (that’s a great pick-up for Jumpman if he’s a full time member), and LeBron James rocking the Home/Scarface LeBron 9. There’s a lot more to see below, so take a look and get ready to kick off a season-long series of NBA Feet features! via Yahoo!.

Earlier today Sneaker News gave you the low-down on some release dates for the Nike Basketball Christmas Pack 2011, which featured the LeBron 9 , KD IV, and Zoom Kobe VII. Following up on that info is the release dates for Jordan Brand’s side of things – the Jordan Fly Wade 2 ‘Christmas’, which features a tonal red upper with white trim, and the Jordan Melo M8 ‘Christmas’, colored up in a rich Clover green with a Knicks-specific Orange Flash. Both releases will hit stores on Christmas Day, but that leaves the Jordan CP3.V, which is currently set for an early January release (and we don’t even know where CP3 will play this season). Most of you already have the 25th circled on your calendars for other reasons, but don’t forget about these two great Jordan Brand releases!

Unless this is some kind of secondary holiday drift caused by all those folks putting out their Christmas decorations too early, here’s the story of how a holiday known for its red and green combo came to be commemorated by an orange-accented pair of Jordan Melo M8s. It started back in the mid-’00s when the New York Knicks shifted their jerseys from blue to green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, but the look was a natural carryover when New York returned to relevance and a spot on last year’s Christmas Day showcase. So basically, the ‘Christmas’ Melo M8 has a look somewhere between Halloween and St. Patty’s thanks to the economy of producing special edition jerseys, but it’s nice to know you can get more than just a day’s wear out of these. Their green upper and orange laces hearkens back to last year’s‘St. Patrick’s Day’ Melo M7 PE (even the green color is named ‘Clover); which one do you like best? Let us know with a comment when you click through to see more and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date (can’t be too far off with Xmas less than two weeks away).
