If the entire world got together for one big party, chances are P. Diddy would be the emcee for the night, because while Sean Combs has continuously re-invented himself with different nicknames, business ventures, and cameo appearances in just about anything, one aspect of his personality that will always remain is his desire to party whenever and wherever necessary. Of course, like any other human, Diddy has his down-time, like when he was recently spotted with Cassie leaving a hotel in NYC. Diddy was wearing the Jordan Six Rings ‘Carbon Fiber’, which shouldn’t come as a surprise (Diddy likes hybrid Jordans). More shots of Diddy and Cassie below, so take a look and let us know what you think. via theybf.

The Jordan Six Rings is a homage to all six signature shoes from Jordan’s Championship years, but lately, the colorways that have released seemed to be a respectful tribute to some of the groundbreaking materials used on Air Jordans over the years. Last year’s tonal 3M-reflective version was certainly one of the better non-Retro Jordan Brand releases of the year, and the same can be said about tomorrow’s Carbon Fiber colorway, a material that was introduced to the Air Jordan legacy via the Air Jordan XI. Can you name some other iconic materials that we commonly associated with Jordan Brand? Check out the new images below and be sure to cop a pair tomorrow at Jordan Brand retailers or from ice-sole on eBay.

The Air Jordan Legacy embraced non-conventional sneaker design by introducing a number of ‘foreign’ materials like 3M-reflective material (made famous by the Air Jordan V) and patent leather (immortalized by the Air Jordan XI). Another unique material that has become popular across the board for Nike and Jordan Brand is carbon fiber, which also debuted on the Air Jordan XI in the form of a midfoot spring plate that gave Michael an added ‘umph’ in flight. We’ve seen full-3M and full Patent Leather Jordan 6 Rings releases, but this September 17th, we’ll see a full-Carbon Fiber version of the hybrid shoe, taking on a tonal black upper with grey and white accents (a similar combo to a Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 that dropped earlier this year). Check out the official Jordan Brand images below and let us know what you think of the upcoming Jordan 6 Rings Carbon Fiber.

Kobe couldn’t match him this year and LeBron has a long way to go to even get into the conversation — there’s a good reason why Michael Jordan is considered the greatest of all time. The GOAT won all six of his NBA Final appearances, an incredible feat that led to Jordan Brand’s hybrid commemorating the models in which he won championship rings. And the Jordan Six Rings pictured above in a stealthy black carbon fiber getup is among the model’s very best looks, a dark luxury machine that’s ready to push the all-white kicks out of your summer rotation. Carbon Fiber material first made its debut in the Air Jordan signature line in 1996, as it was implemented in the construction of the Air Jordan XI as a means to reduce the weight of the shoe. The Air Jordan XI also signifies championship ring number 4 of 6, and you can see the Air Jordan XI’s role in the Jordan Six Rings on the upper lace straps – another design fixture of the Air Jordan XI. This upcoming Six Rings colorway utilizes faux carbon fiber on the upper mudguard and pairs it with a stealthy grey/black/white colorway for a completely sleek aesthetic, which can be compared the carbon fiber version of the Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 that released not long ago. Check out the detailed images of this upcoming Jordan hybrid release and stick with Sneaker News for more updates on this latest Six Rings colorway. via kicks-lab.
