Though its exact inspiration(s) have yet to be specified, the Jordan Son of Mars pictured above manages to reflect its ‘Pop Art’ theme by applying playful shades of the primary colors. This look is vaguely reminiscent of corporate art thanks to all the major companies that use similar palettes in their logos, but the international concern that’s the most obvious fit would be the Olympic Games and its five-ringed flag. No, we’re not talking about Jeremy Lin, we’re talking about the Son Of Mars sneaker – the next multi-Air Jordan hybrid that is set to debut in 2012. The first such release is this colorful rendition inspired by 1950′s pop art, previously dubbed the ‘Olympic’.
