The Jordan Spiz’ike has hit in a select few GS colorways since its inception, the majority in the past few years. Most notably might be the Vivid Pink and Turbo Green-accented Spring 2010 drop that beat the ‘South Beach’ LeBron 8 to the punch, and now here’s a new style that keeps the grey and pink but ends up with a decidedly more feminine lean. This new Spizike GS features Purple Earth and Liquid Pink hits on a Cool Grey nubuck base, an icey girls style that’s set to heat up the holiday season. Exactly when, we still can’t say, but they were projected as a November drop, which along with these new photos suggests they’ll arrive at retailers by the end of the year.

Low-key sneakerhead Mark Wahlberg is back again with another footwear sighting from Jordan Brand. It looks as if he may have taken the advice from our comments section to heart, correcting his apparel game after one reader pointed out how he (heaven forbid) paired up a New Balance shirt with a pair of Air Jordans. The Nike Zoom Kobe VIII remains the most mysterious of the next generation of Nike Basketball signature sneakers, the Black Mamba special apparently being made to wait the longest before arriving at retail. Jordan Brand’s got a handful of special releases particular to the fairer sex that are on their way, a Holiday 2012 collection of brighter colored Air Jordans and the like for the girls. Included are two pairs of the Air Jordan 1 High, another two of the Jordan Flight 45 High Max, and one of the Jordan Spiz’ike. The Jordan Spiz’ike seems to be aiming to take over the hybrid lane after the Jordan Son of Mars dominated so much of 2012, this mash up model still chugging while the aforementioned Son of Mars is nowhere to be seen as of late. The latest colorway we’ve caught wind of is this, a yellow and orange mixture that throws some reflective material in on the mudguard to spice things up quite a bit. 2012′s been a rather ‘colorful’ year for Spike Lee, as his original Spiz’ikes have been the subject of mass alteration thanks to its acceptance into the Nike iD fraternity of footwear. Let’s not forget the Son of Mars, the ‘Knicks’ Foamposites, and the various customs made in his name, so looking back on 2012, it’s easy to say that Spike had a strong influence on the 2012 sneaker game. We’ve already showed you a new ’3M’ colorway of the Spiz’ike, but it appears there’s something special for the girls coming this November – a Cool Grey/Purple Earth-White-Liquid Pink teased here. We’ll have more updates for you when they arrive, but check below to get a better idea of what to expect and we’ll let you know for sure when these projected November releases drop.

When we first saw the 3M Jordan Spiz’ike this morning the colorway seemed like a totally out of the blue one, having no apparent connection with any other Jordan Brand releases. Upon closer inspection it actually appears that the Jordan Spiz’ike pictured is a companion colorway to an upcoming Jordan Melo M9, specifically this pair.
