Blake Griffin brought out the sequel for the 2013 NBA All-Star game, but don’t take that to mean that the first Super.Fly is already on the way out.  Here’s a new colorway for the Jordan Super.Fly Low that proves the opposite, as a black-uppered design with soft blue accents that result in a sort of ‘UNC Away’ look suggest more good things are possible with this Air Jordan XI-leaning modern performance design.  Let us know if this is the best colorway to date after seeing more images below, and be on the lookout at your local Jordan Brand retailer as these have just arrived at select SE Asian stores.

The impending Air Jordan XX8 debut and Michael’s 50th birthday have provided cause for reflection on the greatest basketball player of all time.  His influence is hard to understate, and for one tiny example, one need only look at the latest Jordan Super.Fly Low and sense the almost-familiar vibes it exudes.  At first glance appearing to be another blocking template for the legendary ‘Bred’ mix that was this silo’s first, Total Crimson instead of one of the more traditional reds gives these a distinct orange lean that’s somewhere between the immortal Chicago Bulls colors and a Bobcats PE.  Have a closer look below, let us know what you think and be on the lookout for these at select Jordan Brand retailers soon.

Jordan Super Fly Low “Bred” – Available

jordan super fly bred available 1 Jordan Super Fly Low Bred Available

Coming up on Friday the 21st is not the end of the world, though it hopefully will be the death knoll of a period of frenzy marked by annual Air Jordan XI releases. Don’t get us wrong, the passion we share for sneakers is why you’re reading these words right now. But new policies with major retailers shifting to raffles or otherwise ticketed and generally more controlled release protocols make for a better way of getting your grails. And if somehow you can’t, or if you decide that a legend like the Bred Eleven is too precious to ball in, check out this similarly styled Jordan Super.Fly Low, the shorter cut of JB’s premier non-Legacy performance model. Maybe you can even switch from Bred to Bred when it’s game time; the choice is yours now that these XI-esque Super Fly Lows are available at NikeStore.

Jordan Super.Fly Low – Black – Grey – White

A mass influx of Super.Fly colorways over the Summer months might’ve been too much to handle at once, but this impressively designed sneaker deserves a thorough examination because it’s undoubtedly one of the best non-legacy designs we’ve seen come out in a while. The comfort’s all there, with LunarLon on Fuse materials on the upper providing the best of what the biz has to offer, but the clean design with patent leather mudguards and the ridges on the midsole gives these an updated Air Jordan XI look of sorts. Sort of a ‘Space Jam’-esque vibe to this colorway of the Jordan Super.Fly Low, with the white Jumpman logo on the heel adding the perfect amount of Jordan insignia. A few extra shots are just below so take a look and stay tuned for a release.
