The month of December has been arguably the ‘best’ month for Jordan Brand for the last few years. The phrase “saving the best for last” certainly bodes true for the brand, as the December roll-outs from the previous years included the XI/XII CDP Package, Cool Grey XI, Space Jam XI, Altitude XIII, and more, and December 2011 might top them all with the release of the Concords, Last Shots, Black Flips (confirmed earlier today for a 12/3 release), and a ton more. Here’s a look at what you can expect from Jordan Brand; aside from the Retros, two new Jordan Big Ups colorways will hit, as will a few ‘Concord’ inspired releases of the Jordan SC-2 and Jordan 1 Courtside. There’s plenty more to see below, so take a look and let us know which non-Retro release stands out the most to you, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more Jordan Brand release updates.

Dwyane Wade‘s GPS has him zeroed in at the Big Apple, where the Miami Heat superstar is promoting Mission Court Grip, his new endorsed product that gives him supreme traction and “incredible confidence”. In-between appearances out and about New York City, Dwyane Wade was spotted leaving the Trump Hotel in SoHo, apparently ready to hit the gym for an open run. Clad in Jordan Brand gear, he had a pair of Jordan Fly Wades clutched in his hands, and the October 2011 Obsidian/White release of the Jordan Trunner LX 11 on his feet. More images of Dwayne Wade and the Trunners below, so take a look and let us know what you think. via ybf.

Any time a mysterious package arrives from Jordan Brand, our ears perk right up. So when a large box showed up with a JB return address yesterday, we dove right in to find a huge black box emblazoned with a jumbo Jumpman logo across the top with the tagline “EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.” printed along the front lip. Inside the package was every aspiring athlete’s dream – a full kit of Jordan training gear carefully considered to cover everything one could need from head to toe. The obvious standout item was a black/white pair of the new Jordan Trunner LX 11, a retooled and revamped version of the popular Jordan training/running shoe – featuring a strapped-up woven laceless upper sitting atop a Phylon midsole with a large visible Max Air unit in the heel.
To the left of the Trunners, a water bottle and super-cool Jumpman branded (PRODUCT) RED iPod Nano sit embedded in a layer of foam which lifts up to reveal even more goodies. In addition to a DRI-FIT Jordan t-shirt and shorts, also included in the workout-themed package was a drawstring bag containing a set of Embark resistance cords to help put all this training gear right to work. The cherry on top is a set of Beats by Dre headphones to go with the iPod, ensuring that you’re ready to hit the gym or track in style and comfort from the shoes on your feet to the sounds in your ears. Unfortunately, this amazing package is not expected to hit retail, but the shoe is available now at JB retailers in a variety of colorways. Check out some pics of the “Every. Single. Day.” Trunner LX 11 box after the jump and a big thanks to Jordan Brand for getting us well-equipped for training season.

Jordan Brand’s Trunner series is the Jumpman’s longest running cross-trainer and the closest thing to a true running shoe they’ve ever offered, and it’s enjoyed a nice comeback over the past few years. The OG Trunners dropped around the turn of the century and we got Q4 and Alpha update varieties in 2009 and ’10, respectively. The Alpha Trunner was almost like a Presto-like hybrid with its lacing cage, but the Jordan Trunner LX 11 gets back to the original form with straps on the ankle and instep provide extra stability for the elastic sock upper, and incorporates some new tech in the form of visible Max Air cushioning in the heel. The Cool Grey edition is joined by a GS drop in black with Spark and Blue Crystal accents that echoes the Air Jordan 1 Phat GS also now available at JB retailers like Extra Butter.

Whereas Jordan Brand’s V.2 Grown was basically the second version of the Campus Chukka design and the V.5 a lowtop variant, the Jordan V.9 Grown actually draws upon the Air Jordan Legacy model with that same number. The V9s debut in a dope tumbled grey nubuck getup with black accents that nail the simple lifestyle look and are joined by the equally simply pleasing Air Jordan 1 Phat in black carbon fiber. Despite the obvious advantage from that lightweight material, both of those are best kept to anchoring your outfits, while the Trunner LX ’11 offers serious performance during your chosen training activities. Click through to see all three pairs in more detail and look for yours at JB retailers like Extra Butter.

Jordan Brand gridiron star Andre Johnson was spotted in a pair of Alpha Trunners shortly after the NFL’s labor troubles hit full swing in March and a couple more colorways hit retailers before we saw this all new design. Whereas the Alpha Trunner was a subtle update of a late-’90s original, the Jordan Trunner LX 11 brings a more radical revision to the table, eschewing laces altogether in favor of a woven midfoot strap enclosure. They started hitting stores in June but this Chicago Bulls-style colorway is probably the best so far thanks to its clean blocking and rich red suede, and you can see more images when you click through the jump below. Let us know what you think of this August drop and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Jordan Brand release dates. via Dunk

Over the weekend we gave you an up close look at the brand new Jordan Trunner LX 11, and we’re back again with a more colorful edition of this Jordan Brand trainer. While we’re used to Varsity Red from the Air Jordan line, this time we are treated to Varsity Royal, a sharp blue that wraps the upper on the woven overlay and the thick mesh. The blue treatment also shows up in the Air Max unit on the heel, which is one of several new features that the Jordan Trunner LX 11 received since being revamped from the original design. Hit the jump for a full photo set of these, which are available now at Finishline.
