Kazuki Kuarishi’s adidas Originals by Originals campaign has slowed to a trickle but the model that’s been arguably his biggest success is just too good not to keep releasing in new colorways.  Pictured above is the third kzkLOT x adidas Originals Superstar 80s, and though these don’t have the same ‘Breathe’ nickname as the original black design, their mesh upper construction means these are every bit the “breathable shoes for the hot days of Hong Kong or nowadays LA,” Edison Chen described back at the project’s nexus in 2010.  Check out this new blue edition, let us know how it compares to the white and black pairs and be ready for these to arrive at Juice on June 22nd with select retailers to follow in July.

Has it really been over nine months since we saw the last Kazuki Kuarishi contribution to the adidas Originals by Originals initiative?  During that time, we’ve seen David Beckham’s capsule soldier on like the veteran footballer himself and Jeremy Scott’s popularity blow up like the explosion of color that typifies his style, but Kazuki hasn’t been heard from since the last KzKLOT release last spring.  But CLOT, Kazuki and Three Stripes are teaming up to bring the mesh Shelltoe back at least once more, the CLOT x Kazuki x adidas Originals KzKLOT Superstar switching from white/green to another adi-fave in royal blue with a softer shade on the laces.  Click through to see them up close and stick with Sneaker News for updates on this fall 2012 release.  via EUkicks

Kazuki Kuarishi wasn’t billed as the creative mind behind 2009′s adidas Originals Plant Pack but it did earn him an ObyO capsule and with this latest release, credit is given where it’s due.  The Kazuki x adidas Originals Plant is a simple lowtop silhouette that vaguely resembles the Converse Chuck Taylor with its rubber-capped toe, but the rosey Trefoil on its heels is distinctly Three Stripes.  This pair flips the script on the just released black edition’s colorway, opting for all white with a red foxing band plus KZK’s signature striped strap on the heel.  Click through for a better look, let us know if you like these better than the black pair and grab yours from select adidas Originals accounts including SneakersNStuff.

adidas Originals consistently ups the ante when it comes to hybridized lifestyle sneakers and their latest collaboration with Japanese designer Kazuki Kuarishi manages to meld ’50s greaser style with ’80s performance running.  The Kazuki x adidas Originals ZX Moc was previously referred to as adidas Originals Creeper for its undeniable resemblance to the classic creeper shoe design.  But even with the name change, its Dellinger-webbed midsole offers a strong reminder of the legendary ZX running series.  Click through to see more of this crazy mashup and look for yours at select Three Stripes retailers like WEST NYC.

Kazuki x adidas Originals x JAM HOME MADE – New Images

Animal prints have played a significant role in adidas spring 2011 footwear collection, and while the patent leather leopard sections only make up a small percentage of the surface area, it’s critical to this latest look from Kazuki Kuarishi.  Created in conjunction with Japanese accessory makers JAM HOME MADE, the Kazuki x adidas Originals design pictured above is based on the immortal Stan Smith but adds the heel and tongue straps that have typified the KZK collabos.  It’s worth noting that while the black pair retains the ‘EYELET’ gold lettering on its side panels, this forward and backward print is conspicuously absent on the whtie ones.  Click through to get a better view of both and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release; they should be out sometime next month. via Freshness
