So the verdict is still out on Dwyane Wade’s first signature shoe with Chinese athletics brand Li-Ning, but all it takes is a nice look of them “on-feet” for us to really judge whether or not the Li-Ning x Wade campaign will have any bearing on the U.S. sneaker scene. Dwyane Wade himself rocked the Way of Wade “Dynasty” during an off-the-court moment for a nice frontal and rear-side view, so what are your thoughts? There’s certainly a lot of detail in the shoes, like that sick ‘W’ lacing structure at the base and that padded tongue. Still no word on whether Rick Ross is going to get the size 9 he requested, but the Miami Heat players will indeed receive their 2012 NBA Championship rings prior to tonight’s tip-off against the Boston Celtics. Rozay asked LeBron and Dwyane Wade to hook him up shortly after Miami won the franchise’s second title, but might an even better token of appreciation for South Beach basketball be on Wade’s own feet during the game? Previewed earlier this morning, the Li-Ning Way of Wade Dynasty Collection brings together two white/black/gold styles with different blocking and a tremendous attention to detail for a couple of styles whose lottery for the 40 available pairs should position these as quite the collector’s item.
