The partnership between Liberty of London and Nike is one we’ve come to count on as one of the strongest sources for WMNS releases over the past couple of years. Again satisfying the female sneakerheads is the May 2013 crop, which includes the Nike Dunk Sky High and the Nike Free 5.0 V4. Both pairs feature a colorful static look across there uppers that is probably pretty far from the floral stuff you’ve come to associate the most with the fabric house. The Liberty of London x Nike collection continues to be one of the strongest sources of women’s sneakers out there, with the pack getting deeper several times over the course of 2012. The latest comes in the form of two pairs of the extra tall Nike Sky Dunk High, both of which spot the titular pattern on opposing parts of the silhouette. And while the previous packs have had men dipping in and sizing up the sort of high heel look on these pretty much ropes them off as a ladies only affair. A five-story building lit from above by a massive atrium that makes each level visible from the others, Liberty’s home base has been transformed into a celebration of their ’Lotus Jazz’ Nike Sportswear collabo by the experience specialists at Hotel Creative. Liberty London hooks up with Nike Sportswear for another Spring-time capsule featuring its signature Lagos Laurel print styling on a set of Nike Sporstwear classics. The Free 5.0, which debuted in 2009, will be brought back as a centerpiece of this partnership, arriving in three premium-grade colorways that feature a mosaic of Nike Frees and floral prints. The Free 5.0 will be joined by the Cortez and Air Max 1 as part of the April 2nd release, as well as the Blazer, Hyperclave, and Dunk Sky High in May – the last of the bunch featuring a wedge heel insert in the shoe!
