That would be Liberty of London, whose heritage styles will find their way on to the Vans Old Skool, Vans Era, and Vans Sk8-Hi for July, 2014. Print included are the Felix and Isabelle, the Pepper, and the Lodden, with the last of those pulled straight ouf of their 1884 archives. April of 2014 promises a whole new set of Liberty x Nike releases for the women. The floral fabrics of the Liberty are just one of the myriad options available to the brave souls who plunk down their change for a Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke creation. Kal Seth is the latest customer to make usage of those patterns with his second Bespoke pair, the “Liberty De Le Segundo”. That title references both its status as his second shoe of this sort and the classic ATCQ track “Left My Wallet In El Segundo”. Top notch materials include cork insoles, a velvet footbed, a nubuck viotech tongue, and more. Continue reading to see the creation and tell us of you like Kal’s work.

Liberty x Vans Era 59 – Speckle

Liberty London is best known for applying floral prints to sneaker collaborations, but they’ll be opening up the possibilities a bit with a round of Vans designs for the holiday season.  The new Liberty x Vans Era 59 pictured above is a perfect example, because its overall composition and perhaps view from afar is indeed fairly floral with repeating round shapes and pastel colors.  It is in fact more of a splatter print, one that has at least five layers in addition to a contrasting pink based look on the tongue, heel and inner lining.  You’ll want to take a closer look at these after the jump, then find yours at top Vans stockists like Titolo.

The latest of Liberty prints to be selected for a range of Swoosh sneakers is the paisley styled “Bourton”. That look will be applied to the Nike Roshe Run Hi Sneakerboot, the Nike Air Max 1, the Nike WMNS Dunk Sky Hi Sneakerboot, and the Nike Air Revolution Sky Hi. It’s worth noting that the Nike Air Max 1 sticks out amongst the only non-Sneakerboot selection, presumably meaning that that style will elude that winterized rebuild for the time being. Continue reading to see each of the pairs in question and watch for the group now at Liberty of London or in mid-November at global Nike Sportswear retailers.

liberty nike air force 1 downtown release date 01 Liberty x Nike Air Force 1 Downtown Release Date

Though they had primarily been known for their floral patterns released on ladies sneakers, Liberty of London crossed over for a number of Nike Air Force 1 Downtown designs in 2013.  By this point in the year, having seen them work with Vans and issue a variety of additional NSW collabs, it’s natural to think of Liberty as using their fabrics for guys shoes too, but that wasn’t the case before their AF1 Downtown hightops.  These lows further the sense of Liberty as a label that has something for everyone, as this multicolor pattern based in Midnight Turquoise appeals to a more masculine sensibility.  Check them out from more angles below and be ready for the long-awaited US release date that goes down this Saturday, October 26th at shops like Politics.
