The first sneaker from Lil Wayne’s Spectre by Supra line releases this Saturday, May 18th. The Supra Chimera debuts in three colorways, two of which we detailed just a short while ago. That leaves this third style for you to choose from this weekend, a riff on the classic Chicago Bulls palette that makes the most of high contrast to emphasize the Chimera’s unique silhouette. The other two styles more prominently feature varying material textures while this one maximizes its vintage lean with a tumbled leather up top; check them out up close below and let us know which of these first three Chimeras is best.

May 18th is scheduled with a variety of new releases including the launch of Lil Wayne’s new Supra imprint. The Lil Wayne x Supra Chimera debut kickstarts the Spectre capsule this Saturday in three colorways. The Chimera is all about sweeping lines, the culmination of which is an elegant if nontraditional silhouette that’s especially dope in a mint-speckled pink-hit makeup. Lil Wayne’s SPECTRE line from Supra is almost here. That’s right, the rapper hasn’t been blessed with just one silhouette, but rather an entire label from the all-powerful skate shoe brand. The first one to arrive looks to be the Lil Wayne x Supra Chimera, a design that you can expect in-stores as soon as May 18th. While Lil Wayne may have just lost one of his bigger sponsorship deals, Supra is still sticking with the rapper. In fact, they’ve proven that his wild lifestyle has their full support with the likes of the recent “Vice Pack”. Further support comes in the form of this, Wayne’s own silhouette from the brand known as the Supra Chimera. Lil Wayne’s partnership with Supra will indeed see the New Orleans rapper get his own signature sneaker-the Lil Wayne x Supra Chimera. The model has been a little absent as of late, with the partnership playing out on a few more well established styles from the Crown Brand. Don’t worry though the Chimera is coming, in some wild colors to match Weezy’s palette no less. Shown here is a sort of cheetah-print look that oughta pop eyeballs almost on the same level as the recent volt lean. Lil Wayne’s partnership with Supra continues to make more and more sense as the rapper continues to be seen with a skateboard by his side at all times. The collection will indeed encapsulate Weezy’s bizarreness, as exemplified by this upcoming sample spotted on a trade show floor. The upper is a neon yellow affair that features a crackle pattern that we’ve seen on a handful of Supra releases in the past. The celebrities are out and about at the Project tradeshow in Las Vegas, with various big names putting their stamp of approval on certain footwear movements. The Lil Wayne x Supra one has been bubbling for a while now but up to this point it was all talk, with actual photos of the forthcoming project keeping elusive. We’re erasing that with this, the first shots of the Lil Wayne x Supra Chimera. The early photos promise a couple red/white/black combos sort of inline with Wayne’s adopted home of Miami all on a mid-hitting silhouette. The beast of Greek mythology inspiring the model seems fitting for a Wayne creation, its fire breathing tactics in line with his approach to mixtape work.
