As Nike iD broadens the availability of the color spectrum for its customizable shoes, the opportunity to create “dream” colorways of our favorite kicks has become easier than ever (made evident by the ‘South Beach’ upper of Atomic Green being sold out for the month of November). Mache Customs, who has the ability to create any colorway on command, saw the perfect opportunity to create a Tranformers-inspired ‘Devastator’ design on the LeBron X with the Green/Black/Purple composition made available on Nike iD and adds a sick metal-plate graphic on the heel with a custom Devastator tag on the tongue. No surprise that Mache serves up another masterpiece, so peep the extra angles of this customized iD and let us know what you think.

Is “Mache” short for “Machine”? Just a couple of days ago, Mache hit us with an incredible ‘Evolution of Nerf’ custom of the LeBron X, giving ‘Nerf’ an alternate spin on one of the trendiest sneaker models right now. But enough with the LeBron X for now and onto a surely underrated Nike Basketball model – the Lunar Hyperdunk+; Mache gives it a ‘Scooby Doo’ treatment, colorizing the shoes after the Mystery Machine van that the Scooby Doo gang travels around in. Again, nothing but an outstanding result from Mache Customs, so check out the images below and hit up Mache directly to get your own customs done!

nike lebron x evolution of nerf 2 Nike LeBron X Evolution of Nerf Customs by Mache

Nike and Kevin Durant took us back to childhood with the incredible ‘Nerf’ release of the Nike Zoom KD IV – the uber-limited release that adapted the familiar splash of neon colors of Nerf toys onto the sneaker. Since then, ‘Nerf’ has been one of the most popular ‘custom’ requests, and Mache Customs is one of the small and exclusive group that can actually pull it off. Using the LeBron X, Mache gives Nerf another go, but you might notice that the colors aren’t the same as the KD version because as Mache points out, Nerf toys weren’t only lime green/purple/grey/hot red. Mache adds a considerable amoutn of yellow to the midsole and laces and takes it a step further by making the grey sectional at the toe a reflective material! These will be available on Mache Customs site soon and we’re certain all the tickets will be reserved soon, so be sure to follow Mache Customs on Twitter for first-hand updates on availability.

The sneaker community is still recovering from the massive release of the Air Yeezy 2, with the prospects of a new colorway still swimming around in the collective mind. While a third Air Yeezy 2 drop will shake things up for the Holiday season, nothing’s been confirmed as of yet. Taking matters into his own hands is custom crusher Mache Customs, who flipped a pair of the original Air Yeezy 2 (presumably the Wolf Grey colorway) to match the quizzical Kobe x Air Yeezy 2. It’s another spot-on product from Mache, with the exception of the Solar Red inner lining (the actual Kobe version has a light purple lining. A full shot of this custom is just ahead so take a look and let us know if this is Mache Customs’ best work yet.

Sneaker customizers have made an admirable living off of their crafts, but few have a following as strong and star-studded as Mache Customs. He’s the direct supplier of custom kicks to Wale, who has a serious itch for kicks himself, and he continues to make the headlines here on Sneaker News with his amazing work. His most recent ‘What The KD’ creations garnered a ton of positive response, and it seems that he’s now made his customs available for purchase in auction format. It’s going to take more than a few Benjamins to get these in your hands because the bidding war has eclipsed the $1,000 mark, so let us know if you’d shell out that much for a custom-made product and keep track of the listing from mache541 on eBay.
