In case you couldn’t tell, Mache’s name is definitely ringing out well beyond the world of the sneaker-centric blogosphere right now. LeBron James recently lauded his work on the Nike LeBron X, and now West Coast rapper Game has tapped him to put together a custom pair. The result is this, the Air Jordan IV ‘Jesus Piece’, a celebratory work to coincide with his album of the same name that’s hitting today. The aim is very much a ‘Raging Bull’ one, the red suede look ported over pretty flawlessly as shown in the pictures gathered here. Hit the jump for all the details, including a look at the custom dubraes and insoles, and let us know what you think of the latest Mache banger.

Really Mache? You really already whipped up an Air Jordan custom to riff off the Air Jordan IX ‘Doernbecher’? Apparently the custom heavy weight wasted no time once photos of that special sneaker for 2012 were released, grabbing an Air Jordan VI from his reserves and slapping on a similar gold feathered print. Other than that the sneaker sticks to the muted black and white scheme found on the rest of the sneaker, the model already providing the necessary icy soles. It’s safe to say we’re seeing sneaker customizer Mache go through his Nike LeBron 9 Elite phase at the moment, latching on to the post-season silhouette that capped off one of the best years for LeBron James both in terms of his basketball and sneaker careers. The latest pair keeps things close to the LeBron line’s geographically oriented pairs, this time taking things way up the eastern seaboard to the Statue of Liberty, attempting to best the recent oxidized look of this Nike Hyperposite. Flip through our gallery to check out this one of one and let us know what you think of the job done on this Nike LeBron 9 Elite custom.

Nike LeBron 9 Elite “SVSM” Customs by Mache

The LeBron 9′s Elite edition is the most technically advanced and highest priced basketball sneaker on the market, its cutting edge build designed to push King James over the top in the quest for his first championship.  It worked perfectly and the majority of official colorways have been connected to the Miami Heat’s 2012 NBA Title, but what if we go full-circle and revisit one of LeBron’s earlier triumphs.  This new Nike LeBron 9 Elite custom in SVSM colors is the latest from colorswap king Mache.  Covered in the familiar Fighting Irish gold and green that we’ve come to love on annual PE releases, these photos suggest that just like the St. Vincent-St.Mary LeBron 9 player exclusives, this Elite edition would be a quick sellout were it ever issued for retail.  As it stands, only a few pairs are available from Mache Custom Kicks.

Nope this isn’t a Ghostface tribute, the Tony Stark being paid homage to here is the original one of Marvel comics fame. Staying with the superhero theme after his ‘The Dark Knight’ work on the Nike LeBron 9 Elite Mache grabs the same canvas for this Ironman pair. The sneaker gets plated with the armored up look, with a special spot reserved for a mock Stark Enterprises logo, a placement that actually foreshadows the bit of the emblem selections we’ve seen so far on the Nike LeBron 10. Click through with us to check out the Nike LeBron 9 Elite ‘Tony Starks’ customs by the always on point Mache and let us know your thoughts on this piece of work in the comments below.

Todd McFarlane’s signature character has typically been depicted in a black suit with red cape, but along with the Spawn logo, this resurrected assassin is often outlined in green tones that often explode from the page.  Custom sneaker king Mache might not be a household name on the level of the Image Comics co-founder, but sneakerheads know this guy is quite the artist in his own right.  Following up on several other standouts on what’s gotta be his current favorite model at the moment, the Nike LeBron 9 ’Spawn’ customs add a whole ‘nother dimension to the familiar ‘Dunkman’ superhero style.  You can see all the intracacies of Mache‘s latest custom kicks after the jump; is this his best project to date?

Nike LeBron 9 Low “LeBronold Palmer” Customs by Mache

Will anyone other than King James himself get a chance to don the Nike LeBron 9 Low “LeBronold Palmer”? That’s still up in the air (although the creator of these kicks doesn’t think so), but even if you don’t get your hands on the official release there are alternatives. We’ll one at least-this custom from Mache that seeks to recreate the sneakers using the Nike LeBron 9 Low ‘Easter’ as a base. Granted that’s not the easiest task given that the only photo of the original is a blurry one from Bron’s Instagram but Mache did a bang up job regardless, mimicking the high energy graphics and doing his best to port the colorway over as well. Click through to get a look and let us know if you’re feeling this “LeBronold Palmer” recreation.
