There was some precedent for it with Supreme’s Air Trainer TW SBs, but let’s be honest, nobody would have picked the Workout of all models for PALACE Skateboards to pick as their Reebok skate collab shoe. So now that we’re thinking outside the box with this model, it’s only natural that it would start to show up in unique new configurations. This new MMG x Reebok Workout would be the first snake colorway for this classic trainer, because remember, the only other scaled pair in existence was Solebox’s off the wall ‘Tilapia’ 25th anniversary submission. During the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards, the Maybach Music Group joined up for a cypher (a group freestyle), exhibiting their reputation for smooth lyrics and fashion. Unofficially the ‘sneakerhead’ label (Wale, Rick Ross, and Stalley could be viewed as a ‘Big Three’ of celeb sneakerheads), the Maybach Music Group came through with some Air Jordans – Wale in Black/Metallic Silver Vs, Stalley in Black/Cement IIIs, and Meek Mill in Stealth IIIs.
