It’s been quite some time since we checked up on the Michael Jordan Motorsports team and their various bits of Air Jordan inspired gear. The latest item in that realm is this Air Jordan XX8-inspired Suzuki GSX-R100. The bike picks up on the recent Air Jordan XX8 ‘Blue Camo’ colorway, grabbing the same wavy pattern that has been a huge hit for the sneaker at retail. Check back in after the jump for all the shots of this motorbike Air Jordan tribute from Michael Jordan Motorsports and let us know if you think they should test out some more Air Jordan XX8 colorways on their latest rides.

The Michael Jordan Motorsports racing team was created in 2004, but Michael’s love for racing and fast-moving vehicles has been well documented in his sneakers that trace back to the early 90′s. The Air Jordan VI, for starters, was inspired by one of Michael’s favorite super-cars, while the much-later Air Jordan XIX design took direct notes from the motorcycle racing helmet. In 2008, Jordan Brand presented the MJM team riders with this awesome Air Jordan V PE in White/University Blue, and later the shoe served as a muse for a sick Jordan Motorcycle Helmet that we showed you some months ago. A crisp pair of the Air Jordan V ‘Motorsports’ just became available, so refresh your memory by looking at the gallery below and check out the listing from btn_16 on eBay.

Whenever Jordan Brand drops one of their few and far between Motorsports releases they are usually snapped up with the quickness. Perhaps that isn’t enough for you though, and you’re looking for a better way to express your dedication to all things Jordan. Well it doesn’t get much more limited than the Michael Jordan Motorsports motorcycles that Upper Deck is selling right now. Coming in at 40 grand a piece, each of these bikes has been ridden at one point by one of the Motorsports team members. Our favorite of the trio is the true blue edition shown above, but you can judge for yourself after the jump. via JordansDaily.

Michael’s off-the-court hobbies have often played an integral role in the design of certain Air Jordan models. The Air Jordan XIV, XVIII, and XIX are three designs inspired by automobiles and motorcycles, which happen to be one of Michael Jordan’s biggest hobbies and certainly one that he’s financially committed to. This Air Jordan IV Retro Mars was made exclusively for his Michael Jordan Motorsports Team, and it features the signature Air Jordan IV Mars template with a White/Varsity Blue-Black colorway. Just one size 13 pair is known to be in existence, and it recently popped up for sale online, so if you’ve never seen these beauties before, check out the detailed gallery after the jump and check out the auction from newyorkcompany on eBay.

Michael Jordan Motorsports will begin its 2011 AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike Season @ Daytona International Raceway with MJM racer Ben Bostrom leading the way with the #23 Jordan Brand x Suzuki GSX-R1000 Bike this coming weekend. Motorcycle racing is one of Michael’s off the court passions, and sneakerheads have been lucky to receive MJM-inspired colorways of our favorite sneakers like the Air Jordan VI and Air Jordan Six Rings. Ben Bostrom is the perfect racer to represent the winning ways of Michael Jordan, as Bostrom is coming off a win in last year’s race at the legendary Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway. Check out the Michael Jordan Motorsports racing team after the jump and check with 23race.com for race updates!
