Sneaker customizers have been becoming more and more efficient with their projects, maximizing their efforts with the simplest of modifications. This Air Jordan XII Low ‘Taxi’ needed just a few paint strokes in white on the midsole to give it a whole new look, one that is inspired by Mike Bibby’s Air Jordan XII Low PE during his Sacramento Kings days. Bibby’s PE featured the same color-blocking you see above (just imaging the black portions in Kings purple) with that funky white stripe on the midsole, giving the shoe an added contrast. The ’23′ on the heel has also been painted white (the original on the Taxi low is red). Check out this sweet new custom done by Fdotlawless on NT and let us know what you think!

In 2006, the Mavericks took Game 1. In 2011, the script was flipped. Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh navigated the Miami Heat to a Game 1 victory on Tuesday night, breaking away in the fourth quarter after a tight 40 minutes of play. LeBron James (LeBron 8 PS Home PE) and Dwyane Wade (Jordan Fly Wade Home PE) combined for 46 points, 19 rebounds, and 11 assists, capping off a great duet with an awe-inspiring alley-oop at the end of the game. Mike Bibby, who has quietly been debuting many Jordan Brand footwear releases, wore a White/Red PE colorway of the Air Jordan 2011 Quick Fuse. Dirk Nowitzki led all scorers 27 points while wearing the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 PE, and Shawn Marion provided great support while wearing the Air Max Fly By. Mike Bibby’s Air Jordan PEs have been a popular, ongoing topic here on Sneaker News. We’ve shown you a nice collection of his Player Exclusives, with the most recent being a used yet extremely rare pair of the Air Jordan IX Low. Equally as rare is this Air Jordan V Low, which Bibby was offered during his Sacramento Kings heyday. It features a white upper with a Court Purple trim on the inner lining and outsole, with his number 10 number stitched on the heel. The Air Jordan V Low was only released for women, but this PE is specifically a men’s for Bibby – no need to go up 1.5 sizes for him. Check out the extensive detailed gallery of this Air Jordan V Low Mike Bibby PE after the jump and test your auction skills by visiting this listing by markadim on eBay.
