Reebok Insta Pump Fury New Colorways @ Extra Butter

The Reebok Insta Pump Fury is one of those models that some sneakerheads would say doesn’t get the kind of attention it deserves in the US (though that’s precicely the kind of esoteric appeal that tends to attract that same cult following).  So when a release like this comes along that brings not only a Japanese collaboration but one of the OG colorways stateside, you’re looking at an explosion about to go down.  The mita sneakers x Reebok Insta Pump Fury brings the leopard print that’s trending right now together with the original ‘Citron’/'Firecracker Red’ colorway (limited to 2012 pairs) for a two-pack first believed a Japanese exclusive that’s going to have RBK fanatics hitting up New York’s Extra Butter before it’s too late.

mita sneakers x Reebok Workout 25th Anniversary

For those out there who hoped it never would end, is[n't] it a good thing that the Reebok Workout is going just as strong after 25 years as the Paula Abdul samples J.Cole borrowed for his hit single by the same name?  The answer is an obvious ‘yes’, and seeing these 25th anniversary collaborative designs starting to roll in means proof positive that this shoe can handle more than that (still amazing) OG white leather/grey accent look.  Coming on the heels of Solebox’ shipped-on-ice fishscale previews comes the mita sneakers Workout, a tribute to rugged workwear crafted in wheat heavy duty canvas with corded boot laces thrown in to complete the blue collar look.  We expect additional colorways to be rolled out almost daily for the next bit as we look through the entire 15-pair collection, so check out this edition after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for the rest of the 25th Anniversary Reebok Workout collection.

mita sneakers x New Balance ML581

The New Balance 581 has yet to hit retailers, but it’s clear the company is putting quite a bit of energy behind it, with no fewer than six colorways and four collaborative releases on the way.  The above pictured pair falls into that latter category, having been designed by one of Japan’s leading sneaker retailers and a longtime NB teammate.  The mita sneakers x New Balance ML581 comes in a range of colors so neutral, it’s basically impossible to find something you can’t wear with them.  The range of soft brown and off-white tones is expansive, and gets a nice washed out ‘driftwood’ feel thanks to grey coming in along the rear midsole.  Click through to get a better view, let us know how these rank against the other NB581 collabos and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability.  via SlamJam

New Balance 574 Dragon Pack

New Balance is known as one of the leaders when it comes to collaborating with Japanese brands and issuing Asia-exclusive limited editions.  This newest pack commemorates the Chinese tradition of celebrating the Lunar New Year, but interestingly enough, only one of the five guest designers is from China.  The New Balance 574 ’Dragon Pack’ reminds us that not only are the zodiac animals on a 12-year cycle, but that they also rotate across the five ‘elements’.  Japan’s mita sneakers and Whiz come through with the wood and fire looks, respectively, Taiwan’s Invincible goes for earth, Singapore’s Limited Edt handles the water, and China’s NPC completes the set with an iron-inspired colorway.  Each pair carries enough details to make their photos worth far more words than we can fit here, so click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for word on possible US availability.  via Streething

mita sneakers x Reebok Insta Pump Fury Leopard

With all the Japanese brands collaborating on classic runners and other old school kicks, applying wild animal prints to their well established lines, it’s almost a shock that we haven’t seen this particular model get the safari touch.  The mita sneakers x Reebok Insta Pump Fury ’Leopard’ picks up on a trend we’ve been seeing quite frequently of late, and applies it to the base layer of a colorway that manages to be more ostentatious than pretty much all the others thanks to its contrast stitching and red accent hits.  Click through so you can see more images and let us know if these are import-worthy and where they rank against the growing crowd of leopard print sneakers in 2011.

mita sneakers x Puma Suede Mid The List New Images

Puma’s top-tier ‘The List’ collection has been producing premium quality limited releases for a few years now, and the latest comes from one of Japan’s most prolific collaborators on a variant of one of the German cat’s single most popular designs.  The mita sneakers x Puma Suede Mid is crafted in a rich royal blue hue that naturally looks great next to the gold foil branding and a white cupsole.  Worn with tonal laces, they’re a midly eye-catching blue suede shoe, but swap in the extra pair of yellow corded laces and you’ve got something only a solar eclipse could make you miss.  Click through to see more of what’s in store when these release on Saturday at 10am Tokyo local time and let us know if you’ll try to import a pair.

Oshmans x mita sneakers x New Balance H710

New Balance has seriously ramped up their trail shoe production in recent years, hits like the MT580 allowing for the expansion of the 574-inspired line plus a variety of other new designs.  But even if it’s benefiting from the trail-580′s success, you could pretty easily argue that the New Balance H710 is even more of an NB OG.  Inspired by the classic Rainier and Allagash silhouettes, the H710 is back with a collaborative design from Oshman’s Sport Goods and mita sneakers that adds a small patch of Mexican blanket material to an otherwise black suede design.  It comes together to create a warm look for the cold months, and you can see a huge run of detailed images after the jump.  Let us know what you think about this Japanese exclusive and stick with Sneaker News for updates on the latest New Balance trail boots.

mita sneakers x adidas Originals Campus 80s Pack

The past couple of months have been very kind to the adidas Originals Campus 80s, with this no-frills lowtop being called upon for a string of high profile collabos. The All Blacks, Foot Patrol, and X-Large versions were all a success, and now Japan’s mita sneakers is picking up the gauntlet. Going with a vintage look, these two are sporting the pre-yellowed treatment on the midsole, and are also conspicuously light on the branding. Check out both pairs after the jump and let us know how they rank amongst the other adidas collaborations we’ve seen lately. via HS

mita sneakers x Puma Suede Mid

In the world of uber-cool Japanese boutiques, mita sneakers rests near the top of the heap. While their most frequent collaborations come with New Balance, the team at mita has worked with just about everyone you can imagine in the footwear world, Reebok, Asics, and the list goes on. We’ve seen them get together with Puma before and they’re back at it, this time releasing a tonal version of the Puma Suede Mid. The indigo upper has a very textured look to it, a result of the natural dyeing approach utilized in this collabo. Take a full look at the mita sneakers x Puma Suede Mid after the jump and stay tuned with us for info on their October 7th release. via FreshNGood
