The NBA continues to push full steam ahead, showing no signs of slowing down until the All-Star break in February. Where as last season Nate Robinson showed his affection towards the Air Jordan 13, it looks like this year is all about the Air Jordan 12 for the spark off the bench as he continues to wear the Air Jordan 12 “Gamma Blue” to match those Nuggets powder blue uniforms. Kevin Durant continues to go on his usual tear, hitting his averages (which are anything but) in a close game against the Rockets in a new Nike KD 6 while former teammate James Harden did everything he could to steal one against his old squad in the Nike Zoom Crusader. Which pair was your favorite in our latest edition of NBA Feet? Stick with us after the click and let us know in the comments.

NBA Feet: Around the League – 1/13 – 1/14

The NBA’s latest stretch of games left out the Miami Heat (currently enjoying a 5 day hiatus from basketball) but all that means is we had to reavert our attention to selections we wouldn’t have normally recognized elsewhere around the league. Austin Rivers surprised in a D Rose 4 PE in a Metallic Gold inspired by those new Pelicans uniforms. Usual suspect Monta Ellis switched up his normal Air Jordan Retro reign for a Jordan Melo M9 in blue suede that we could’ve seen on Carmelo Anthony throughout the latter half of last season. But just incase you were looking for your retro fix of Jordan shoes look no further than Amir Johnson breaking out the all-red “Motorboat Jones” Air Jordan IX for the first time. A total of 24 games, and 1 Drake Night, can only mean one thing – there are a ton of NBA weekend on-feet looks to catch up on. The Heat had a rough trip to New York as they lost to both squads in a matter of two days even with the help of a couple of enticing Nike Zoom Soldier 7 PEs for LeBron. Let’s just say he couldn’t stop Joe Johnson from putting on a show at the Barclays Center in the first quarter (the Nets guard continues his retro wears for 2014 in the Air Jordan XII “Taxi”). Elsewhere around the league the Nike Zoom Hyperrev debuted in a plethora of team colorways and we even got to see an Air Jordan II on court in Denver, so stay with us after the click for our latest NBA Feet weekend recap and let us know which pair was your favorite in the comments.

NBA Feet: LeBron James – Nike Zoom Soldier 7 “Silver/Red” PE

LeBron and his Miami Heat rolled through Madison Square Garden last night expecting the usual competitive grudge match that comes with their annual trip to Manhattan, but we doubt the Heat expected to add a tally to their loss column at the hands of the struggling Knicks. And even though King James put up 32 points in an effort to get out of dodge, at least he can take solace in knowing that he packed something special in his duffel bag in terms of sneakers for the trip out to MSG. Instead of opting for his Nike LeBron 11, LBJ switched to the Nike Zoom Soldier 7 in an all metallic silver mock up while a red strap donning the crown logo in black glistened under the signature theatre lighting at the Garden. Get with us after the click for a full NBA Feet rundown of the King’s selection and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

It was a big night for the NBA as a perennial matchup of Knicks-Heat faced off in Madison Square Garden and the home team continued their roll into the New Year by winning their season high third straight win behind Carmelo Anthony, who laced up his Jordan Melo M10 “Dark Powder Blue”. LeBron tried his best to lead Miami to victory in a brand new Nike Zoom Soldier 7 “Metallic Silver” PE, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to secure a win. Meanwhile, ¬†Joe Johnson continues to rock his first retro wear of the season in the classic Air Jordan XII “Taxi” and Nate Robinson opted for that brand new “Gamma Blue” look in the same silhouette. As always, hit the click to get a full rundown of our latest NBA Feet recap and let us know which pair was your favorite in the comments.

NBA Feet: Carmelo Anthony – Jordan Melo M10 “Knicks” Home PE

The Knicks continue to roll into the New Year undefeated and with some solid wins under their respective belts. Now whether that’s due to a renewed commitment to some sense of team chemistry, J.R Smith’s need to untie opponents’ sneakers before boxing them out, or Carmelo Anthony’s brand new sneaker in the Jordan Melo M10 remains to be seen, but will take either the first or the latter as probable cause. As expected, Melo was going to wear a “Knicks” PE at some point in the season, and he did so as he lit up MSG with a barrage of three’s last night in the brand new scheme. Featuring a clean white base, orange accents cover the sole and laces while royal blue maintains the tongue and toebox. Stick with us after the click for a full view of his latest player exclusive and let us know your thoughts on this latest NBA Feet selection in the comments.
