Nike Sportswear touched on the “grown man” look with the Nike 1972 QS – a refined version that pays tribute to the origins of the entire brand. With a name denoting Nike’s first year in existence, the Nike 1972 QS sorta reads like a “look at us now” message, with the brand obviously moving to unthinkable heights over the last four decades. With two sublime colorways of Team Red and Dark Brown, the Nike 1972 QS brings a sporty vibe to even the most dressed-up of occasions and certainly hits that specific note that sneakerheads are looking to hear. Look out for these at other select Nike Sportswear retailers like Packer Shoes in-store after you check out the detailed gallery below.

What would you grade Nike’s first year as the outfitter of the NFL? Included in this lifestyle-driven set of releases are two shoes we had previously shown you before – the Nike Trainer Clean Sweep Low and the Nike Field General – as well is this insane Nike 1972 QS, which is a clear throwback to Nike’s earliest roots and its lesser known origins in football and turf sports. The entire set is anchored by a clean metallic silver colorway as lustrous as the Vince Lombardi trophy. Cali-Roots has this amazing Nike 1972 QS up for grabs beginning this Friday, so check out the gallery below and let us know what you think.
