Alright so it looks like the Nike Air 180 will be going on an extended safari soon enough. Just yesterday we saw a version of the sneaker that donned the famed “safari” print on its back end, mixing in a colorway that looked nothing like the shoe that said print first arrived on. The Nike Air 180 continues to make its presence felt in 2013 as following up on the Engineered Mesh ‘Sunset’ and ‘Beaches of Rio’ colorups, we’ll get at least one more colorway to compliment the ‘Terra Pack’ offerings. This new Air 180 presents a wholly new look in grey with Ultramarine-ish plus soft green accents. Together with a diamond lattice upper texture and Safari on the heel atop a speckled midsole, these have quite a few attention grabbers. Nike Air 180 EM “Beaches of Rio”

We’re gonna go ahead and call the Nike Air Max “Beaches of Rio” set the unofficial fourth entry in Nike’s “Home Turf” series. Landing far from the European spots like Milan, London, and Paris, the five sneakers instead wash up on the beaches of Rio De Janeiro. The Nike Air 180 EM just might be the underdog style of the bunch seeing as how it’s pitted here against relative giants like the 1, 90, 95, and 97 all with the EM treatment. It also might be the darkest pair of the group what with that deep laser purple across the upper. Nike Air 180 “Terra Pack”

The Nike Air 180 was one of the silhouettes that was often included in “Pack”-style releases over the years, but it’s never been depended on as a stand-alone set – mostly because the model doesn’t have the strength as the other Air Max models in the OG series. This Holiday 2013, Nike Sportswear is ready to give it some shine as we get a first look at the Nike Air 180 “Terra Pack” which for now features two colorways; anytime we hear “Terra, we think of ACG-stylings like speckled midsoles and earthy colors, but check out the second colorway that is definitely more “lux” than you’d expect from something that suggests an “outdoorsy” feel. Both colorways are available for viewing below so take a look and expect these to hit this Holiday season.

Rising along with the rest of its bubble-bottom colleagues in the Nike Air Max EM “Sunrise Pack” is this Nike Air 180 EM style. Is it the single sneaker from the pack that will fly the furthest under the radar?
