It was an all-adidas affair for the 2013 Championship game as Louisville and Michigan, both outfitted by adidas, took the court in an array of adidas Basketball footwear like the adidas Rose 3.5, adidas Crazy Light 2, and a slew of new colorways of the adidas CrazyQuick. This is one big step forward for adidas, who had an impressive crop of schools reach the Sweet 16, so regardless of the outcome of the Championship game, you know adidas was already coming out on top. One interesting on-foot sighting has our focus on Kevin Ware, who suffered a gruesome injury wearing the the adidas Rose 3.5, cheering on his Cardinal teammates while wearing the Nike Air Foamposite One “Polarized Pink”. Are you still waiting for dream-team collab of Sanrio and Nike to finally happen? Until that most kawaii of collections officially materializes you’ll have to be satisfied with the custom creations in that vein. This one takes the recent Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Polarized Pink’ and plants their most famous character on the side, with a Hello Kitty head popping up on each sneaker. On top of that there are a few extra pink touches, one of them of course coming on the icy outsole as is the Sole Swap signature move. You’ve been there: you’ve opened up that lame Christmas present while the gifter was present, forced to feign happiness at the dud. So this past week of releases, with Black Friday falling right at the center, was one of the most jam-packed spans of sneaker offerings we’ve ever experienced. Air Jordans, LeBrons, Air Force 1s, SB Dunks, Foamposites – anything and everything for several distinct sneaker tastes was made available, and considering there was so much to cop, you might’ve missed out on some. When the pink Foams were first spotted in Gentry’s treasure chest of goodies, Foamposite fans thought “no…they couldn’t, could they?”. Surely, Nike Sportswear did; tomorrow, NSW retailers will release what has become one of the most polarizing sneakers of the year, with supporters and detractors unabashedly voicing their love – and hate – for this sneaker release. Foamposites have become such a massive nationwide success over the last few years, with colorways that were once too much to handle being embraced as the ‘norm’ for the space-age design. Things took a turn for the…interesting with Polarized Pink – a dazzling full-on upholstery of a Cam’ron favorite. We expect these to be one of those ‘hate it or love it’ shoe releases, but don’t expect them to sit around for too long once the Wednesday release date approaches. Social Status is beginning to receive their shipments in so check with your local NSW account for availability and cop a pair in advance on eBay.

Hope you’ve noted the updated release information for these pink Foamposites! November 21st (on the eve of Thanksgiving), Nike Sportswear will unleash the Nike Air Foamposite One in the “Polarized Pink” colorway; we first got a peek at the shoes when Gentry Humphrey showed us a massive trunk filled with Foamposite samples, and just the tiniest glimpse of pink sent Air Penny fans in a frenzy. To some, the color pink might be too crazy to pull off, but with the high anticipation surrounding the release, it’s clear that pink is ready to widely embraced. We’ve got a detailed gallery for you to take a gander at below, so if you’re not 100% certain on copping these, flip through the gallery and your decision should be made.
