The Nike Air Foamposite Pro releases in a Metallic Platinum and Bright Crimson (and of course, black) mix this weekend, and an enterprising designer is getting in on the fit. Available on Friday, August 31st (not October as the website currently reads) at midnight Pacific is the ‘Worth Every Penny’ strapback cap from Rare Addiction, a yet-to-be-priced ‘Foamposite’-brimmed cap whose self-described ‘neon orange’ accents keep them in the tonal range of the bright red shade on those soon-to-drop Foam Pros. So while the tagline remains to be proven (presumably, a cap with an injected foam brim and carbon fiber strap will be quite costly), we can evaluate the design itself with more photos after the jump. Have another look, let us know how they compare to the constantly growing library of sneaker-inspired streetwear and stick with Sneaker News for more details.

Indiana Pacers Small Forward has made quite an impression in the sneakerhead circles for his impressive on-feet selections for the 2011-2012 NBA Season. Some of his notable in-game appearances include Kobe VIIs, Spizikes, Air Jordan Retros, the Air Flight One ‘Galaxy’ for the Dunk Contest, and even the Electrolime Foamposites (matching quite well with the Indy Yellow/Navy). At this moment, Paul George has joined several Nike athletes like LeBron James and Eric Koston in China, where the Nike Festival of Sport 2012 is taking place; in a skate-demo led by Nike athlete Eric Koston, Paul joined in by getting on a skate deck wearing the Air Foamposite Pro ‘Bright Crimson’. Are Foams decent skate shoes? Likely not: they’re heavier than skate shoes and the board-feel might not be the best with the thick rubber outsole. More of Paul George in Foams below, so take a look!

The recent news around the Air Foamposite Pro ‘Bright Crimson’ wasn’t much to scoff at, as the release date change constituted nothing but a one-day push forward. We don’t think that really derails any of your plans – in fact, it might make it a bit easier to cop these as well as the Air Jordan VII ‘Raptors’ and LeBron 9 Low ‘Liverpool’ joints on the September 1st release date, but if you’ve been eyeing nothing but the Foams, at least you’ll avoid the Saturday shopping rush. It’s turning out to be a great back-to-school shopping season thanks to the Bright Crimson Foams (they’re arriving at stores like Rock City Kicks now), so will you be rocking these once school begins? Let us know where these rank among this year’s Foamposite releases, and you can bet Sneaker News will be the first to update you on all the info you need.
