After December’s Flightposite Exposed, it felt like more a matter of when and not if for Elephant print and one of the core Foamposite models. And here we have it, the Pro Foamposites done with a Cement-ish Elephant graphic upper along with a pink sole that’ll rival the upcoming ‘Yeezy’ edition for most eye-catching bottoms. This is also another case of an iconic Nike print covering a 1997 Foamposite shoe after the ‘Safari’ Ones; how do these compare to that arguably under appreciated design? Since the legendary Galaxy Foamposites debuted in February of 2012, Nike Sportswear hasn’t been shy with formatting Foams with graphic prints. We’ve seen secondary takes on the outer space theme, the ParaNorman, the forgettable Weatherman series, and now the team is borrowing Tinker’s iconic Elephant Print on this latest Air Foamposite Pro development. A full Elephant Print upper, quite honestly, is far from a surprise, although the pink and red accents surely bring a twist to this ’88 flavor. These also might drop this Fall as a Wolf Grey/Hyper Pink colorway of the Pro is set to release during that time.
