Some of the best Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke creations are the ones that hold some sentimental value, after all if you’re going to spend $800 on a pair of sneakers they’d better mean something special to you. Ryan Chapman’s engagement design was a pretty good example of that, as is Jason Curtin’s ‘Bone Rack’ pair shown here. Dedicated to his late grandfather ‘Bone Rack’ who served time in the Marines, the pair looks to elevate his legacy of service through its design. A few nods to the man’s medals are incorporated, with the silver star etching on back and the purple heart icon on the dubrae. The remainder of the upper keeps it clean in a solidly blocked navy colorway, going for denim and suede in a pretty premium look. Follow us after the jump for the full shots of the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke ‘Bone Rack’ by Jason Curtin and let us know in the comments if you’re cooking up any special designs for a possible trip to 21 Mercer. via UGSoles

The latest Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke we’ve got a look at from Shea White has a couple different angles of inspiration that we’re sure are familiar with many of our readers. Take the ‘Sunglasses and Advil’ name given to them, a nod to an epic night of partying that shows up on the custom hangtag and the unique logo on the dubrae. The theme is also explored through the blacked out upper representing the sunglasses one is prone to hide behind after such a night, and the crackled elephant print as a nod to the splitting headache that comes the next day. Of course these also have some Air Jordan DNA in them as well, thanks to the ‘Space Jam’esque materials and colors and again the elephant print on back. Follow us after the jump for the full shots and let us know how these Bespokes compare to the last joints we saw from mister Shea White.

There’s a story behind every Bespoke creation, whether its one that’s written in the spur of the moment or scripted over a lengthy period of time. Meet Ryan Chapman, whose heartwarming story culminated into an awe-inspiring Bespoke creation with a plot taken right out of a romance drama; Ryan proposed with a Bespoke (a similar story told by Brandon Renken), but as we all know, everything about a wedding – the proposal, the arrangements, the flower centerpieces – is about her. Ryan’s Bespoke is dear to his fiance’s heart in more ways than one, and beneath the buttery suede and glossy patent leather is a rich tale of love, sport, and how the two add up to success.
Meet Mallory, a world-class athlete who competed with U.S. National Paralympic swim team; a year ago, she was in search of some red/white/blue kicks to wear to the ceremonial podium for the World Champioships, so she and Ryan cooked up a nice Nike iD colorway of the Shox NZ (pictured below). So after a year and several months of dating, Ryan used that sentimental Shox NZ colorway to create a special Bespoke for Mallory with the date of their first encounter engraved on the lace dubrae, and with the ring attached to the golden hang-tag, Ryan made the ultimate pick-up of his life – a beautiful fiance with a love for sneakers and a passion for sports. Ryan was gracious enough to share his story with us, so check out his Bespoke after the jump and let us know if you have any personal sneaker-tales you’d like to share with us.

It seems as if Shane Victorino went on a mini shopping spree at the 21 Mercer studio recently, bringing home two pairs of the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke. Following his Bruce Lee tribute, we’ve got another pair that pays homage to something near and dear to his heart: the City of Brotherly Love. The sneakers mix in the colors of his Phillies uniform together with a chestnut brown suede on the uppers that his held together by the fat stitch option-which gives it a baseball mitt look. The Philadelphia skyline shows up on the tongue and runs along the heel area of this Bespoke creation, confirming their inspiration along with the “Philly” etched onto the dubraes. Follow us after the jump for a better look and let us know which Shane Victorino Bespoke you prefer.

We’ve seen quite a bit of Sneaker News this month surrounding the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke experience, everything from wildly imaginative new designs to a new deluxe special production for 2012. The Air Force 1 Bespoke ‘Vachetta’ showed up last week sporting a deconstructed silhouette crafted in ultra-premium leather including the midsole and hand-rolled and stitched laces. The earliest tan, black and white pairs had us wondering if these might end up sticking with neutral tones, but this newest edition widens that inquiry to include all muted colors. Judging from the dusky faded blues in use on this new revelation, we certainly wouldn’t mind seeing sage green and soft burgundy, just to name a few. The first 30 customers to schedule an appointment to create a pair at 21 Mercer in New York will have theirs delivered in a reclaimed-fir-lined wooden box that’s been laser etched and custom sealed. You’ll get a sense for how deluxe these really are just by looking more closely at the photos after the jump, but to truly appreciate the craftsmanship you’ll have to set an appointment to create your own at Nike Sportswear’s NYC flagship. via Sneaker Freaker

With digital camouflage being one of the print options for the Bespoke, one can create quite the high-tech military-inspired shoe. Francky B chose to use the digi-camo for the majority of the upper, using a Desert Storm digi-camo motif on the upper paired with a cool grey suede on the toe-box and center panel. He then gives it some visual pop by adding minute touches of volt around the swoosh, the heel-stripe, and the bottom-most lace eyelet that speaks volumes in contrast. Francky then finished off the design by going tonal black on the midsole as well as the inner lining. It’s a superb use of color that surprisingly matches well with the finicky digi-camo print, so check out this latest Bespoke creation below and let us know what you think. via NK.

The most recent Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke we profiled here on Sneaker News featured the same kind of metallic/iridescent black patent leather we’ve seen on a couple of other recent pairs. It’s the kind of exclusive material that gives off a luxury vibe, but you could argue that those have nothing on these new pairs when it comes to reflecting abundance. The Air Force 1 Bespoke in Vachetta leather will be a special release exclusive to Nike Sportswear’s 21 Mercer flagship store in New York featuring deconstructed ‘no-liner’ builds, leather laces and midsoles and two rather fetching shades of brown and tan. Will these be the only two colors available from a service typically known for its expansive range of options? Vachetta is generally ‘untreated’, so it’s likely the answer leans toward yes, but there’s at least one ‘extra’ brown shade for the midsoles, and maybe we’ll even start seeing these with little bits of cork or digi-camo mixed in? Click through for a look at these ultra-premium AF1 Lows and let us know if these’ll have you setting up an appointment for the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke experience. via NIKEiD
