It doesn’t have quite the same groundbreaking appeal as the Infrared shade that rose to prominence just over twenty years ago, but Nike’s Solar Red color has indeed left its mark on the summer of 2011. We saw Blake Griffin’s earth shattering Hyperdunk 2011 PE, a dope LeBron 8 V/2 Low share its all-over Solar look with a recent pair of Lunar Flows, and now another classic updated with the Hyperfuse touch: the Nike Air Force 1 High HYP. These AF1 Hyperfuses feature nothing but the pinkish hue in question, a strong argument for the ‘hottest’ shoe all summer. Click through to see more angles of this model expected at US Nike Sportswear retailers soon, and if you can’t wait till they drop stateside, grab yours today from Caliroots.

The Nike Sportswear Ice Cream Truck carries the tagline ‘Always On’, but one of its first goodies sold out quite fast. And the Nike Air Force 1 High Hyperfuse in Volt also promptly sold out on NikeStore, so is the ‘always’ in this case an indefinitely long future wherein none of these neon neckbrakers are available? Whether there will be another run of these seems unlikely at best, so interested sneakerheads can head over to Kicks-crew to check out the limited size run they currently have available, and stick with Sneaker News for updates on future Air Force 1 Hyperfuse release dates.

Few sounds can make an adult instantly snap back into a playfully childish state of mind like the jingling and jangling of an ice cream truck during the dog days of summer. New Yorkers are particularly lucky in this regard, with a variety of trucks roaming the Big Apple’s bustling avenues, and one in particular that’ll have sneakerheads sprinting down the street. Nike Sportswear’s ‘Always On’ Ice Cream Truck is set to serve up the goods including a Hyperstrike-sized 24 pair release on the Nike Air Force 1 High Hyperfuse in Volt, with the Blue Glow edition to follow soon after. They’ll also have a bunch of new Uptowns, the Pine Green Air Foamposite Pro and a variety of attire, so click through to see a preview and follow NSW on Twitter and Facebook for updates on the truck’s whereabouts. via GameSeven
The Nike Sportswear truck will be at Dyckman Court in NYC today at 4pm. Follow the NSW Twitter for more updates.

Nike has been known to generously celebrate its distributors special moments with collaborations and friends and family exclusives, and one such gem was bequeathed to Long Island’s Sneaker Bistro this weekend on the occasion of the store’s fifth anniversary. The gift was a special Nike Air Force 1 Hyperfuse colorway that you’ll never see at stores because it was axed at the sample stage. The reason why seems to be more of the simple fact that the market can only handle so much product, because it looks so nice in white and Medium Grey that it’s hard to imagine anyone looked at this shoe and thought “No.” But unfortunately this one fell on the cutting room floor and the closest most of us will get to having won the AF1 Hyperfuses given away at the Sneaker Bistro 5th anny party, is to click on the jump below for some additional images.
