Nike Air Force 1 “Blazer” – Grey

Following up on the successful launch of ?uestlove’s early 2011 collaboration, Nike Sportswear issued a bunch of additional Dunk High ACs.  Patterned after the VNTG Blazer, the Autoclaved Dunk High switched soles and Swooshes to look more like the original Beaverton court kicks than the ‘Be True’ college basketballer we’ve come to know and love.  It looks like the only other NSW classic that has surpassed the Dunk in terms of enduring relevance and sheer volume of colorways was also slated to receive a similar treatment, though you’ll notice that this ‘Blazer’ Nike Air Force 1 Low keeps its iconic Pivot Point cupsole on this belly-Swooshed grey suede sample.  Let us know if you’ll cop these (assuming these aren’t shots from the cutting room floor) and stick with Sneaker News for release dates along with more rarities and unreleased gems.

The three chenille-Swooshed Nike Air Force 1 Lows we previewed just before the turn of the year are arriving now at select Nike Sportswear retailers.  The classic letterman style evoked by that Swoosh and the simple, crisp color patterns has earned these a ‘Varsity’ nickname, but it’s hard to pick the captain when the Hyper/Team Red, Court/Gorge Green and Stealth/Dark Grey editions came out so strong.  Let us know your personal pick after scanning through photos of all three below, then find yours available at stores like Rock City Kicks.

Nike Air Force 1 Low – White – Black Elephant Print

Following up on our exclusive previews of Summer 2013 Nike Air Force 1 releases is another elephant-print Air Force 1 in a simple Black/White colorway. The highlight is, of course, the black-on-black material on the heel panel, taking on that ‘Black Flip’ approach with a tonal-white toe-box. With elephant print no longer a specialty detail and now a standard in NSW footwear, does this hint at elephant print taking form in other models – perhaps the OG Air Maxes? It’d be nice to see elephant print on an Air Max 1 again (like the atmos and DJCK collaborations) so check out the detailed gallery of this Summer ’13 AF1 and let us know what you think. Many thanks to Rooog!

Nike Air Force 1 Low – White on White Perf

It seems practically unthinkable when you consider the fame of the white-on-whites and sheer number of other Nike Air Force 1 Low motifs that we’ve never seen the most popular Uptown in perforated leather.  But each of the white leather AF1 Lows that’ve preceded this perfed-out edition have featured at least one accent color (be careful and shop with reputable sources; a fake similar to these has been floating around on the shady parts of the net that you can distinguish from this upcoming release because the impostor is too densely perforated and rocks a wonky Swoosh).   Expect the genuine article at select Nike Sportswear retailers for Q2 and stick with Sneaker News for updates after you’ve seen more photos below.

Nike Air Force 1 Low – Teal Elephant Print

AF1 fans went hard as a mother lover when the heralded elephant print became an available option on Nike iD last year, but NSW is ready to break the mold for good when it drops some more elephant print colorways this Summer 2013 season. This Grey/Navy colorway is paired with an odd mix of teal and a fireberry-like pink, with the latter two tones mixing it up on the elephant print panel on the heel. Based on the mesh interior lining, these appear to be something of a non-Premium/Supreme release, meaning easier absorption on the wallet! Check out this exclusive gallery below and let us know what other colorways you’d like to see the AF1 use with elephant print. Many thanks to Rooog!
