This week you got a little history lesson on the Nike Air Flight Maestro 1, that sneaker from 1992 that could be seen on-feet for Scottie Pippen during the Bulls’ 92/93 season. After that he stuck with the Maestro line and would later don the Nike Air Flight Maestro 2 seen here – this colorway being an All-Star PE for the man. You’ll see that the sneakers have the coveted “PCPS” designation (Pou Chen Player Sample) on the inside of the tongue and even feature the signature of Pippen himself. Continue reading to see more of these 1994 All-Star gems straight from the collection of Scottie Pippen and then bid on them yourself from abas15 on eBay.

NIKE BASKETBALL 1990′s WEEK
We’re the Raging Bull V the first tonal-red sneaker made for a Chicago Bulls legend? Think again. Kudos to you if you remember these ’94 Classics, but if not, we’re here to refresh your memory; the Nike Air Maestro 2 was a middle-of-the-pack Nike Basketball model worn by a number of energetic Shooting Guards/Small Forwards of the mid-90′s – notably three-time Champion Scottie Pippen who suddenly had a world of expectations poured on his shoulders. In his first solo act, Scottie earned an All-Star nod in ’94 and arrived wearing one of the most daring colorways ever done by Nike Basketball – this True Red/White-Black colorway of the Nike Air Maestro. The Air Maestro 2 ‘All-Star’ was re-released in 2004 among a slew of other Maestro colorways (which actually sat on shelves at heavily discounted prices) and returned in the new Maestro Flight rebuild in 2012. More of tonight’s Classics Revisited below, so take a look and let us know where this ranks among all the 90′s BBall classics we’ve covered over the week!

What would you do if you had the opportunity to cop over two thousand deadstock vintage kicks for pennies on the dollar? If you’re anything like Jason White, you’d Pau Gasol the entire set and even if, like Jason, you’re prone to “not get rid of stuff”, you’d probably want to part with the pairs that you couldn’t fit into. That’s the case with these deadstock Nike Air Maestro 2 midtops, a shoe made famous during the 1993-94 season when Scottie Pippen broke out his notorious red pair en route to an All-Star Game MVP award. This is the black/Lapis edition and would make a great addition to any vintage Nike Basketball fan, so click through to see more images and check out the auction from jasonwhite9 on eBay.
