The still slightly confusing “Essential” moniker continues to be applied to upcoming Nike Air Max 1 styles. Shown here is the latest amongst them, a shoe that slaps some synthetic suede and nubuck stuff across the upper. The white mesh sections are joined in here by a white side Swoosh as well, a choice that we don’t see too terribly often when it comes to this silhouette. The Nike Air Max 1 is enjoying a pretty good year so far in its various forms. The ‘OG’ style brought back the sport red look, the premium version introduced plenty of 3M laden looks, and now the Nike Air Max 1 Essential is back around with another clean combo. The sneaker sports a combo that looks very Jordan-esque thanks to the black/red/grey mixture and the pattern in place that almost looks like a midpoint between the cement and elephant prints.
