Nike Sportswear is always doing exciting things to kick off fall and this year is no exception. Throw a “Wheat” Timberland inspiration on the Nike Air Foamposite? Sure, why not? Bring back Shox technology in a lifestyle shoe? Check. It definitely says something when one of the more subtle things the Swoosh’s lifestyle imprint is doing is extending the upper on the Nike Air Max 1 and outfitting it in a clean camouflage print to make the shoe a year round affair. And if an Air Max 1 Mid wasn’t enough, they even outfitted the Nike Roshe in a matching colorway. This marks the first time that we’re seeing the Nike Roshe Run FB paired with that Natural Motion outsole, and it adds an even sleeker aesthetic to the silhouette championed by that FB Yeezy release in years past. So which tonal camouflage pair are you feeling? As always we have a better view for you after the click and head over to Sneaker Politics to reserve your pair today.

Nike Air Max 1 Mid FB “Cristiano Ronaldo”

The Nike Air Max 1 Mid or the Nike Air Max 1 Sneakerboot? Nike is giving us plenty of options of the initial, legendary air max¬†wielding¬†silhouette as we transition into the colder months so you won’t have to worry about getting the originals messed up with rain, sleet, snow, street salt and whatever else the harshest months of the year throws your way. The sturdier builds have been as eclectic as the shoe’s near 30 year history, as we get a look at a brand new Nike Air Max 1 Mid FB that features an all black look as the shoe uses suede, leather and mesh to clash with that Neo-Turquoise lining in a call-out to Cristiano Ronaldo. The lifestyle release ditches the air max branding on the heel for the “CR7″ imprint while the aesthetic pays homage to Cristiano’s Real Madrid club. Grab more images after the click and stay tuned for a release date in the near future.

The 30th Anniversary of the Air Max 1 is going to be a big celebration in 2017, but let’s face it – Nike has made a big deal about this shoe almost every year. Air Max Day featured the OG Sport Red matched with a volt sole, and the FB creations from last year have punched up Tinker’s design like never before. The split-sole color-blocking has been met with mixed reaction since we first got a glance at it a year ago, but as long as Nike keeps the colorways in check (this Grey/Teal is rather clean), there is potential for a following. Get a better look at these shoes below and stay tuned for more Air Max sneaker release updates.
