Flavor Flav has managed to stay in the headlines, for better or worse, ever since his re-emergence on the reality TV scene via VH1. The legendary hypeman is unfortunately caught up in some legal troubles at the moment, prompting him to show up in court with a pair of Nike Air Max 2012s on feet. He’s also sporting a black Jordan warm-up in the hour of chaos and curiously touting what appears to be the keys of millions in his hands. It’s been a while since we’ve seen new product from the partnership between Hirofumi Kiyonaga and Hiroshi Fujiwara, but here comes a new FC Real Bristol collaboration in time for the holiday season. They’ve brought in mastermind JAPAN who just released their first Nike Sportswear collaboration this past weekend, and after the skull and crossbones logo played such a prominent logo in that design, these new F.C.R.B. x Nike Air Max+ 2012s opt for a subtler approach on the lateral ankles. Black/grey and navy/gold colorups connect with the sporty aesthetic we’ve come to expect from these UE projects with a tone of darkness provided by Mastermind, and they’ll hit Kiyonaga’s SOPH on Saturday, December 22nd.

As any good runner can tell you, finishing strong is just as important as getting off to a good start in your training, so not only is the Nike Air Max+ 2012 supremely comfortable, it’s also a thematic reflection of where your mind should be when you lace them up. This latest Air Max 2012 release features a mixture of dark blue tones atop an orange base layer whose shade comes to the surface on the tongue, liner and Max Air cushion. Add in the silver Swoosh and we’re looking at a pattern whose subtle novelty and similarity to several other almost-identical blocking templates reinforces the depth of complexity in the Air Max 2012′s construction, and this latest navy and orange edition is available now at Eastbay.

Red and blue show up together on so many flags, uniforms and other symbols of unity, which demands some extra attention with respect to the specific shades and their distribution. Take for example this new Nike Air Max+ 2012 in Midnight Navy with Gym Red and Electric Green accents. Described most generally, it’s another red and blue AM2012 with blocking similar to a recent WMNS drop in University Blue and Bright Crimson, but thanks to that third energetic shade, this new style ends up as something like the ‘Superman’ to that ladies design. We’re nearing the end of the Air Max 2012 odyssey so have a closer look and let us know where these rank amongst a year’s worth of colorways, and find yours available today at NikeStore.

The Nike Air Max+ 2012 boasts a tremendous range of colorblocking possibilities thanks to its layered Hyperfuse construction, but even with all this modern technology at work, some of the best colorways all year have been the most basic. Take for example this new black and Bright Crimson edition. It’s an aggressive look with a bit of the edge taken off by the careful placement of soft grey along the tongue and sockliner, plus a clear full-length Max Air cushion with a smokey translucent outsole. Nike Running retailers like Oneness are ready with your pair in stock now, and you can see more photos first when you click the jump below.

There’s still no sign of the more casually oriented leather styles we’ve come to expect from the end of the product cycle in recent years, as the Nike Air Max+ 2012 continues to treat us to new Hyperfuse treatments right up to next year’s flagship debut. This style slated for a November release is done in Cargo Khaki with white accents and a grey sole, a look that’s appropriately earthy for the season but isn’t going to overtake your outfit like a Halloween or Christmas theme. Check them out up close after the jump, then consider a pre-order to have yours ready once they ship from Titolo.
