Each of the Nike Air Max 2013 EXT colorways we’ve seen to this date have been of the two-toned variety. Dividing the shoe into the upper vs. its laces, Dynamic Flywire cables and sole made for a pleasingly subtle look on the first three releases. This next drop adds two more colors to the equation, and with them, a substantial change in the blocking arrangement. This Air Max 2013 reaches back to the Air Max 90 with its use of Laser Blue and Zen Grey but leaves no doubt you’re looking at this year’s flagship’s lines thanks to the high contrast black/white base. Have a closer look below so you can compare these to the initial styles, then grab yours at Nike Sportswear retailers like Titolo.

The majority of Nike Air Max+ 2013 colorways we’ve seen to date have chosen to emphasize the current flagship’s technical prowess with relatively simple colorways. This new Quickstrike quartet brings some substantial theming into the mix, as Nike Sportswear’s four staple Max Air classics supply their signature colorways to the modern Air Max 2013. Accordingly, the Air Max 1 edition goes for a ‘Sport Red’ look, the AM90s feature Infrared Flywire, the 95s offer a range of greys plus neon and a ‘Silver Bullet’ rounds out the group on behalf of Air Max 97. There are a few sneaker categories that we know Wale has on lock: Foamposites, LeBrons, and Air Jordan retros. His collection doesn’t end there though, as the rapper apparently does his thing in the luxury category as well. Shown here is a set that Wale recently touted including Swoosh goodies like the Nike LeBron X ‘Cork’ and the Nike Air Max 2013. Rounding out the group is the recently released Holographic Space Sneaker from Raf Simons, a red pair of the Balenciaga Arena sneakers, and the animal print Christian Louboutin Rantus Orlato. Let us know if you’re feeling Wale’s high end pairs or the sneakers featured more (Don’t forget the Air Jordan 1′s on feet) in the comments below.

The Nike Air Max 2013 EXT has proven itself adept at handling two-toned colorways. The latest release falls squarely into that group, but thanks to the proximity of the shades in question on the color wheel, these give off a different impression. Following up on higher contrast black/red and grey/orange makeups, this edition shows us once more why Dark Atomic Teal and Atomic Teal have been so popular both individually and combined this spring. Let us know if these are the best Air Max 2013s to date after seeing more images below, then grab yours at select Nike Sportswear stockists like Oneness.
