We’ve written thousands of words about the Nike Air Max running series here on Sneaker News. Not even the most articulate sequences can fully convey the utter perfection that happens when groundbreaking technology performs great, looks even better and catches on at the exact right time. That feeling you get when admiring one of Tinker Hatfield’s early gamechangers, Sergio Lozano’s iconic 95 or Christian Tresser’s spacey 97 — it’s the kind of magic Beaverton relives with the introduction of the Hyperfuse-equipped Nike Air Max+ 2013 and the Sportswear division’s Engineered Mesh, and they’ve channeled a bit into a dope new animated video you can see in full after the jump.

Check out both of these luminous Nike Air Max releases in their full glory after the jump and look for both in stores on December 26th.

The Nike Air Max+ 2013 represents a new level of flexibility in the world of full-length Max Air cushioning. It’s also dynamic enough to issue satisfying colors in both mens and womens sizes, the latter of which is manifested in this new revelation. A pink WMNS Air Max 2013 adds silver branding and black accents for a look that’s feminine, but one whose overt technical merits convey a sense of power. Coming up for a mid-January release at select Nike Running retailers, you can see this ladies AM13 after the jump below.

The debut of the Air Max 2009 featured a fully-uncaged 360 Air Unit – the true first of its kind. The Nike Air Max 2013 model takes it a step further, adding supreme flexibility to the pure-Air cushioning system for the most advanced Air-based cushion yet. Air Max fanatics will certainly be all over this shoe once the ‘LE’ model hits stores on the 26th, but it looks like Nike iD is beating the debut to the punch. An official release of the Air Max 2013 iD becomes available tomorrow, December 18th so stay tuned to Sneaker News for potential updates on color palettes and/or completed samples and let us know if you think $220 is worth the coin to customize this latest Air Max model.
