NIKE AIR MAX 90 HYPERFUSE The Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse is a contemporary upgrade to Tinker Hatfield’s classic Nike Air Max 90 runner. The Hyperfuse paneling is used on the upper in place of the traditional leather and mesh approach, creating a seamless look. The most coveted colorway to date has been the ‘Infrared’ mimicking the most popular blocking of the original Air Max 90.

The combination of Hasta, an earthy yet aquatic shade of green, as paired with the Sunburst shade of red is a recurring theme in Nike Sportswear’s FW12 catalog. We’ve seen it placed upon the classic Air Lava Dome and recently resurrected Free 5.0 Trail, which means this new Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse has a bit of an offroad feel by association. These add a Granite suede mudguard to further the organic vibe and offer us a new twist on the browns + red formulae that have worked so well for NSW in recent cold weather catalogs. Have a closer look below, let us know what you think of the AM90 HYP builds with traditional materials mixed in and grab yours at retailers like Extra Butter.

Nike Sportswear’s Premium level retro runners continue to impress, and this latest one also surprises us by arriving at retail before so much as a single preview. This new Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse PRM utilizes the sage-ish Hasta shade we’ve seen on a few other FW12 drops, but leaves its seaweed lean behind in favor of an earthier feel next to a Granite suede mudguard. Bright red accents finish this style off perfectly, connecting to autumn leaves, the immortal ‘Infrared’ OG and the kind of genius color combinations that made those originals so famous. Check them out from some extra angles below, then be quick to grab a pair from NSW stores like Wish.
