NIKE AIR MAX 90 HYPERFUSE The Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse is a contemporary upgrade to Tinker Hatfield’s classic Nike Air Max 90 runner. The Hyperfuse paneling is used on the upper in place of the traditional leather and mesh approach, creating a seamless look. The most coveted colorway to date has been the ‘Infrared’ mimicking the most popular blocking of the original Air Max 90.

After debuting in a variety of OG-leaning, ‘dipped’ and otherwise totally new colorways last summer, the Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse went AWOL right around the time CrookedTongues gave out their sick ‘Infrared’ F&Fs. Then about ten days ago, we got our first look at a few new pairs whose colors were more or less combined to create the Olympic Flag-styled Quickstrike pair soon to be joined by AM95BBs and AM2012s. And that’s not the only AM90 HYP set to hit retail with some friendly assistance, as the four ‘Suede Pack’ pairs will soon unleash their unique combo construction on the world in red, neon, blue or black. Check out all four pairs up-close after the jump, let us know which one(s) catch your eye and stick with Sneaker News for word updates including word on US availability. Photos: mita sneakers

Late last week, Sneaker News showed you three different Nike Air Max Quickstrikes decked out in the colors of the Olympic Flag, the shared color scheme among these Hyperfuse-uppered lowtops sufficient evidence to conclude they’re part of a larger whole.  This ‘Olympic’ Air Max pack includes the Nike Air Max+ 2012 flagship as well as the refreshed Air Max+ 95 BB and Air Max 90 Hyperfuse, all decked out in primary colors with just a hint of the blending capabilities Fuse layering offers.  These are all quite eyecatching and show off where Nike Running has traveled over the past two-plus decades, but how do they match up to the Dream Team/USAB tributes Nike Sportswear has in store?  Let us know which ‘five-ringed’ style you prefer when you click through for more shots of these and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability.  Photos: mita sneakers

Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse QS ‘Olympic’

April 20th, 2012 by | 11 comments

nike air max 90 hyperfuse qs olympic Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse QS Olympic

Following in the footsteps of the most recently previewed Air Max 95 BB is another Hyperfuse-constructed classic Air Max runner from Nike Sportswear also bearing the colors of the IOC’s five-ringed flag.  The Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse features the same restrained blending that typifies the AM95BB mentioned above, both opting for mostly opaque blocking with just a hint of what layered Fuse can look like.  This one also happens to utilize more black than any of the others from this three-shoe ‘pack’ that also includes an upcoming Air Max+ 2012; do you like this solidly blocked look or will this silo have to come up with something even crazier to catch your eye?  Let us know what you think when you inspect additional images on the other side and stick with Sneaker News to see if the April 28th drop at atmos girls will be soon followed by a US release date.

nike 2012 pro bowl pack on ebay Nike 2012 Pro Bowl Pack Available on eBay

With Nike well on their way to taking over the outfitting contracts for the NFL, you can expect the realm of Football related PE’s to get a lot deeper in the future. A quick taste of that was the Nike 2012 Pro Bowl Pack, a trio of trainers that didn’t find their way onto the field of Aloha Stadium but were quite a treat for the involved players nonetheless. With the Nike Trainer 1.3 Max Breathe, the Nike Free Trainer 5.0, and a slick colorway of the Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse all included, it was the kind of pack that likely would have been snapped up pretty quickly in the event of a retail release. And while that didn’t go down you still have a chance at grabbing a pair, as the full set is up for grabs on eBay now. Hit the jump for the shots of them and check out the auctions from zoomkobepe on eBay.

Excited for the Pro Bowl? All-Star festivities in all sports are always a great fan-draw, but if you’re a Giants or a Patriots fan, don’t expect your team’s Pro Bowl selections to get any action, because they need to be well-rested and healthy for the game that really counts – the Superbowl. Not long ago, Sneaker News showed you the Nike 2012 Pro Bowl Pack, which featured the Nike Trainer 1.3 Max Breathe, the Nike Free Trainer 5.0, and the Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse; all three feature the a sick ‘FTBL Maximus Athleta’ labeling around the shoe, the 01.29.12 date stitched into the inner lining, and a special graphic of the state of Hawaii on the soles of the Air Max 90 Hyperfuse and Free Trainer 5.0. Check out the detailed gallery of the entire set below and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more information and updates on this sick season’s-end pack of Nike footwear. via NK.

Nike 2012 Pro Bowl Pack

nike 2012 pro bowl pack Nike 2012 Pro Bowl Pack

The annual NFL Pro Bowl tradition has spawned quite a number of sick PE colorways of the Nike Dunk Low ’2011 Pro Bowl’ of last year (although sadly, it never released). This year’s focus will be on two of Nike’s newest Training models as well as a revamped Sportswear variety – the Nike Trainer 1.3 Max, Nike Free Trainer 5.0, and the Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse. At the epicenter of this sick capsule of footwear is a Solar Red and Grey motif, giving the Trainer 1.3 Max and Free Trainer 5.0 a jolt of energy and the Air Max 90 Hyperfuse a familiar ‘Infrared’ vibe. Stitched on the inner linings of all three is the date of the big game – January 29th, 2012 – while the Trainer 1.3 Max dons special edition lettering on the heel, reading ‘Maximus Athleta’. Will these release? We’ll keep you updated, so peep all three after the jump and let us know what you think about the Nike 2012 Pro Bowl Collection. via DJClarkKent.

Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse – Summer 2012

November 27th, 2011 by | 2 comments

nike air max 90 hyperfuse summer 2012 Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse Summer 2012

The Nike Sportswear Hyperfuse campaign will continue next summer, as we get a look at four upcoming colorways of the Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse. While we have yet to see any OG renderings of the AM90 Hyperfuse (outside of the limited release of the Crooked Tongues collaboration of the Infrareds), these new color-ups utilized the tonal motif that seems to work exceptionally well on the multi-layered sneaker. Two-toned colorways seem to be the go-to formula for these, so expect more of that variety in addition to the four colorways seen here. Need another look? Take a look after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more Nike Sportswear upcoming releases.
