Nike Air Max 90 Premium – Night Factor – Volt

Expect more Nike Sportswear Air Max classic runners with two-tone midsoles in 2014. This trend we’ve seen ramping up over the past few months is actually a natural extension of the Nike Air Max 90‘s original tooling, so it looks especially good on this new combination of Night Factor and Volt. The all-suede upper is a good choice for the late winter into spring, and the navy blue/neon combination, as seen with last year’s ‘Squadron Blue’ Air Jordan XIII, is a colorway that seems to work particularly well that time of year. Click in for a closer look, let us know what you think and consider a pre-order ahead of the February shipment from Afew.

That iced treatment isn’t the only special thing on the horizon for the sole kit of the Nike Air Max 90. Slightly less mind blowing but still worth noting are pairs like this, which opt to split up the color blocking on the bottom part of the shoe. This one for example rocks with white up front and orange on the back, while the upper is unified with a solid dark obsidian tone. Nike Air Max 90 ICE February 2014

The Nike Air Max 90 is a sneaker that’s continuously being upgraded with new textures and materials and new titles to reflect those changes. Case in point is the upcoming Nike Air Max 90 ICE, a sneaker that slides a translucent look underneath the body of this Tinker Hatfield classic. Up top is a geometric pattern that looks to be the result of the Jacquard approach, one that’s been utilized a fair amount on recent Air Max releases. Continue reading to see more on the shoes and watch for the Nike Air Max 90 ICE to release in February of 2014.

nike wmns air max 90 pink glow available 01 900x600 Nike WMNS Air Max 90 Pink Glow Available

It’s officially Pink Glow this time around, but as sneakerheads, we recognize this Nike WMNS Air Max 90 as ‘Laser Pink’.  That was the original shade in use back in the OG version of this ladies makeup, a slightly more feminine counterpart to Infrared that has been updated for this latest round of retros.  The overall effect is nearly identical: a high energy early 90s baby with the kind of appeal that makes the guys who can 1.5-up to get a pair.  Remind yourself why this is considered one of the great womens colorways on record, then grab a pair at Nike Sportswear shops like Politics.

 Nike Sportswear Running 2014 Preview

It appears that there are even more Nike Air Huarache and Nike Air Max 93 pairs on the horizon from Nike Sportswear. We got a healthy dosage of both this year thanks to the folks over at Size?, but here’s to hoping that what we’re looking at is an inline group with just a bit wider distribution (Can get them in the US, please?) Along with the “Scream Green” Huaraches and 93 goodies, there are also some interesting Nike Air Max 90 and Air Max 1 pairs in the mix. Glean what you can from this preview after the break and then tell us in the comments which of the pairs you’re most looking forward.

Nike Air Max 90 Essential – Light Base Grey – Iron Purple – Atomic Orange

Nike Sportswear commands the industry’s most varied heritage archives, which is very helpful because their competitors are quite well equipped in other areas. For example, New Balance is widely considered the quintessential manufacturer of grey suede and mesh classic running shoes. NSW offers less of these, particularly relative to the more exuberant stuff, but here’s a case where the newest Nike Air Max 90 reflects the combination of tonal grey and orange that we saw on not one but two NB 1300s this year. What makes this one from the Swoosh stand out is its careful use of Iron Purple, which itself fits nicely into that white/grey/black tonal range, but gives these a little bit of that ‘Just Do It’ energy. Check them out with more photos waiting below and know that you can grab them right now at Premier.
