This year’s flagship is a performance-oriented world-beater, the Air Max 1 is celebrating its 25th anniversary and plenty of more obscure classics have come out of the Nike Sportswear vault in recent months, but can any of those lines match the energy behind the Air Max 95 family right now? Not only are new colorways consistently hitting retailers, but we saw got both No-Sew and Hyperfuse-constructed pairs debut a short while back. The latter of those, Nike Air Max+ (95) 360 is such a perfect progression from the original that even hardened purists can find merit in the new gradients its synthetic upper makes possible. This white and grey edition is a prime example of which you can see more images below, then be sure to check back with Sneaker News for updates as we approach the June 7th drop date.

The ‘What The Max’ Pack featuring the Hyperfuse-laden Air Max triumvirate highlights a rainbow of colors that chaotically mash up Sports Red and Soar and Blues and other wild tones, but if you’re looking for something a bit more controlled, check out this June release of the Wolf Grey and Vivid Orange. Ninety-five connoisseurs would immediately think of that late ’99 release of the ‘Orange Peel’ Air Max 95s, but for those who can’t think back that far, you can perform a self-’inception’ by copping these on June 7th.

One key reason the Nike Air Max 95+ BB is winning over the masses including typically staunch purists is new ‘abilities’ like the style pictured above, conferred by the miraculous synthetic construction that is Hyperfuse. 360-degree Max Air on the cushion ain’t bad, either, so when you combine these with the familiar greys and neon that made Sergio Lozano a name no sneakerhead could ever forget, we’re looking at a clear case of technology opening doors to new aesthetic potential. Click through for some more images of the ‘Neon’ Air Max+ (95) 360, let us know how this ‘pillared’ look compares to the newfangled gradient found on mita’s ‘Neo Escape 2.0′ and look for this Volt-accented edition at Nike Sportswear retailers starting May 31st.

The Air Max 95 pushed the limits of what we’d come to expect from Nike’s signature cushioning platform, expanding its visible action from the heel where it’d been sequestered since 1987, all the way up to the toe for the first time. Fitting, then, as we see it come through in a couple new updates this season, that one of those would demonstrate the progress in Beaverton since we first saw Nike Air under our toes. The Nike Air Max 95+ BB adds the uncaged full-length Max Air unit that’s been running the flagship series since ’09, this white/grey-uppered pair nearing black on the soles so as to fit in perfectly with early 2012′s greyscale trend. Let us know how they compare to the more energetic colorways after you look at some additional images below and stick with Sneaker News to find out when these will hit US Nike Sportswear retailers. Sneaker News just showed you how the classic ‘Neon’ colorway has been remixed on the Nike Air Max 95+ BB, so what about the color combo that might be the most popular in modern sneaker history? Turns out ‘Bred’ looks great on these BBs as well, this new take on the model previously known as Air Max 95 360 applying aggressive Sport Red streaks to an otherwise black and grey design. The red ‘muscle fibers’ offer a different look than we’ve ever seen from the beloved AM95; how does this new style stack up against Sergio Lozano’s entrant into the GOAT discussion? Let us know what you think about the Air Max 95+ BB when you click through to see this new pair and stick with Sneaker News for release info. Photos: mita sneakers

The name ‘Air Max 95 360‘ might be one that fits this shoe, but it’s not exactly the tidiest we’ve ever seen on a Nike Sportswear shoebox. Nike Air Max 95 BB is a small improvement in terms of keeping its numerology perfectly clear, but you wouldn’t be alone in associating two Bs with basketball. To the contrary, these AM95BBs are equipped with the running/training 360 Max Air cushion, though they do favor some of the best Nike Basketball models with the Hyperfuse upper construction. This ‘Neon’ edition is actually a bit closer to ‘Dunkman’ than the OG Air Max 95 thanks to its dark grey upper; how do all these one-degree changes compare to the legendary original? Let us know with a comment when you click through for some more images and stick with Sneaker News for release info. Photos: mita sneakers

For a sneaker that has historically remained pretty untouched via any sort of hybrid re-imaginings, the Nike Air Max 95 sure is diving in head first with this latest version. Doubling up on the deviations, the upcoming Nike Air Max 95 360 extends the air bubble coverage on the bottom to a full-foot bag and swaps out the traditional top for a Hyperfuse look. Release info is still pretty slim, but what we can give you is a look at a new colorway. The sample shown mixes in some foggy greys and blues for a more understated look than what was exhibited in previous previews. Let us know what you think in comments section and stick with Sneaker News for release info. via Dino410
