The Nike Air Max line has long been a favorite out in Europe and the bubble bottom sneakers are a frequent sight on the streets of any given metropolis across the pond. Celebrating Europe’s embrace of Tinker’s innovation is the new Nike Air Max ‘Home Turf’ collection. The group consists of three separate collections paying tribute to London, Milan, and Paris, respectively. Included are a few OG silhouettes like the Nike Air Max 1 and the Nike Air Max 90, but the set is dominated by hybrid and newer styles such as the Nike Air Max 2013, which even sees its bubble borrowed in the brand new Nike Air Max 1 2013 and the Nike Air Max 97 2013. Continue reading to get a full look at the entire set, which launches at select NSW spots on February 15th, with a wider release scheduled for March 27th.

The ongoing celebration of the history of Air Max continues with this surprising collaborative release between Nike and Japan’s mita sneakers. Somewhat in conjunction with the release of the Japan-exclusive Air Max Chronicle magazine, mita sneakers has created a special rendition of the original Air Max 95 ‘Neon’ using a black inner lining and tongue, a special AIR MAX insole that throws back to the OG boxes, and a sick UENO embroidery on the inner lining of the shoe (something we saw with the earlier City Attack and Air Force 1 releases done by mita). The Air Max 95 is considered to be the axis of the ‘cult Air Max’ sneaker, as mita details the journey of Air Max and this model in particular in the Air Max Chronicle issue, but it all culminates tomorrow with this incredible release. A detailed gallery is just below, so take a look and let us know what you think about the subtle changes made for this collaborative project.

Over the weekend we gave you a look at a catalog shot of a pair of Nike Air Max 95 EMs, but there’s a swift update to be made. Here’s a look at an actual pair of the same 95s, and clearly you can see that the toe-box was swapped out for the black suede (yes, they look dark green in the photos) to achieve that tonal look, while the Air Unit was given a burst of color with the bright orange. What’s more is that this release is part of the Nike Air Max EM ‘Honolulu’ Pack, which also features the Air Max 90 EM. We’ve got a full gallery of this impressive colorway below so take a look and stay tuned for a U.S. release on February 9th.

Following its introduction in the original ‘Neon’ colorway, the Nike Air Max 95 EM will indeed don a few more recently developed palettes. Pictured here is an orange and grey combo that’s on its way, one which abandons the gradient look up top for a simple two tone grey fade. Also of note is the speckling that lines the midsole, a little detail that has no doubt pushed folks to purchase plenty of times in the past. Continue reading for the full preview and let us know if this Nike Air Max 95 EM style is one you’re looking forward to.

Following up on the Hyperfuse trend of the past couple of years, Nike is again remixing some of its most beloved Nike Air Max silhouettes with a brand new technology. That would be Engineered Mesh, a perforated, proprietary material that allows designers to zone out different sections of the sneaker that require more or less flexibility. The Nike Air Max 1, Nike Air Max 90, Nike Air Max 95, and the Nike Air Max 97 are all set to hit in January of 2013 in a group of OG colorways made futuristic by the EM designation. Continue reading for the high res shots of each and let us know if you approve.

With so many Air Max 95 colorways to have released in the last 17+ years, it’s like a fun game of “where have I seen that” whenever a new one pops up. This latest creation binds a few familiar ones, like a reverse gradient of the OG with one white panel short of re-creating the ‘Comet’, or even the ‘Lava’ colorway that came out a few years ago. What makes these stand out is the patent leather stripe at the very peak of the gradient and the snazzy red tongue, making for yet another must-have 95 release. These are available now at UK sneaker retailer giant JD Sports so check the gallery below.

Nike Sportswear has four of its most famous classic running originals on tap as we move into the new year. Air Maxes 1 and 90 get the vintage treatment, but for the 97 and its predecessor pictured above, NSW sticks with the time-tested but not antiqued look. And while a VNTG AM95 is an intriguing idea, no one will say that NSW didn’t make the right choice in issuing the ‘Neon’ Nike Air Max 95 OG in the same style that made it famous some eighteen years ago. Count these among the Monday, December 31st releases that offer tons of new possibilities for 2013 and check out some new images after the jump below.
