The best way to ring in a new year is sharing a kiss with your beloved, and Nike Sportswear will extend that into a humongous hug the likes of which legends are made. The Nike Air Max OG Pack brings together the original styles from NSW’s four most frequently released retro runners, with the Nike Air Max 1 and AM90 adding VNTG (or OG, in this case) treatments to their red-accented designs while the more advanced Air Max 95 and 97 show their relative age with more pristine builds. A quartet of colorways no serious sneakerhead should be without, these Air Max classics are scheduled for a December 31st release, so be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates throughout the holiday season.

It’s a well established fact that the Nike Air Max 95 is one of the most popular sneakers in England, and following up on a recent JD Sports exclusive, here comes another of the Eurozone’s most prominent retailers with another fresh AM95 in that same vein. Sporting a mixture of grey, black and bright red nubuck on its famous tiered upper, this new Air Max 95 has a vague ‘Chili’ look about it, but violates the OG grey-dient in favor of a more aggressive blocking pattern. Have a closer look below and get in touch with your pals in the Old Country, because these are only available at Foot Locker EU locations.

First World Sneakerhead Problem: “I already own the OG Air Max 95 Neons“. Yes, news of the re-issue of the Neon 95 was reason to celebrate, but for the many Air Max nuts out there, the OGs may already own a slot in your closet space. In comes the new ‘EM’ build of the Air Max 95, colored up in Cool Grey/Volt-Black; Engineered Mesh takes over the upper of the Air Max 95, using the targeted ventilations on the upper to complete a design while minimizing weight where unnecessary and allowing these nearly two-decade old designs to be used for running. These are scheduled for a January release at overseas retailers, so check out the detailed gallery and let us know if you’d consider copping this EM model to complement the OGs that may already be in your sneaker closet.

Nike Sportswear’s ready to kick off the 2013 calendar year with some intense Air Max heat. We’ve been covering all the hot Spring 2013 releases, with one of the major highlights being the re-issue of the original ‘Neon’ Air Max 95; it’ll arrive untouched from its original form, which means no EM, BB, 360, or any other recent upgrade that had been presented in 2012. If you’re looking to add these to your collection or are just starting, the Neons are an instant must-have. Titolo has a pre-order now, so check out their images below and let us know if you’re due for a re-up on these sneaker staples.

Engineered Mesh is an innovative material intended for Nike’s high-performance footwear products, but NSW’s getting in the mix with the release of classic Air Max models done in ‘EM’ style. This Air Max 95 features a full Engineered Mesh upper with the ‘ribs’ embossed outwards to maintain the ’95 anatomy, so it’s clear that Nike’s is being cautious with these re-designs in an effort to keep things true to the original. These were first spotted in a Nike Sportswear Air Max 2013 Preview from a couple of week ago, so expect these to hit during the first quarter of 2013; we’ve got new images below so take a look and snag this women’s wear-test sample from iluvmusic414 on eBay.

Not to say your sneaker collection is invalid if it lacks a pair, but Neon 95s are certainly essential to any rotation. The OG Neon has seen a release several times since its debut in ’95 so opportunity hasn’t been lacking, and with 2012′s ‘No Sew’ version and 2013′s Engineered Mesh providing some alternatives to the original, you might as well re-stock on the first-born. This January, Nike will re-release or original Air Max 95 colorway, so if you’ve been eyeing a pair, hold out for just a few short weeks and you’ll have ‘em on your feet in no-time!
